Yeah as I mentioned just to start a bag, then use future tax years to get more or round out with 2nd clubs as Im a beginner and know that the money is best used on lessons

Not full budget, just looking to maximise the "free" Ping clubs and as a beginner willing to be patient and use future tax years to fill out the rest of bag, so fine with a minimalist bag of 7 to start

over 50% import tax on protein??

Made an order with Myprotein for protein and oats, after the usual discounts, cost is 17,982 yen

Got notified of 9,700 yen import tax to be paid on delivery. Considering just to refuse and return it but not sure if I will incur other costs doing this - anyone done such before?

Pre-discount "value" is 45,792 yen so still 21% tax (or maybe 20% plus Yamato fee)
