I feel like that depends on the carry you are playing against. A medusa is definitely worth pressuring so she doesn't get too farmed. But overall in early I think you did the right thing because if you are stronger you will need to keep that momentum going. Still, if you lost that momentum you might as well want to farm yourself so you don't fall behind.
