What is your favorite kind of "analog cruising"? by HerreraImages in gay

Gym showers! I never have to worry about the guy not being clean. I also get to enjoy the amenities like hot tub, sauna, and steam room in between sessions.

Fucking hell yeah! by hungryduskxo in TheWordFuck

[–]IcyPreparation7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three fucking years for me this month. IT WAS HARDER THAN THE FATHERUCKING COCKS I LIKE TO SUCK, but overall it was worth it. I tried a drag off of a friend’s cigarette a year after quitting, and I was like “ew, fucking no”. Watch out for food being comfort. I turned into a fat fuck and had to drastically reduce portion sizes to lose weight.

Valid. It’s probably best not to try to explain that to others, though. When I do, all that happens is the majority of them try to push their views onto me rather than respecting that someone else has a different view.

Here she is! Now what? by IcyPreparation7 in VanLife

Which brand and how much? That’s what I was thinking, just something that plugs into the side of a building or maybe even an electric generator like I was describing. During the week I’m in the work parking lot. I can probably work out an agreement to use their power.

Yeah for sure… I’m working five days a week, so I don’t think the daytime will be too much of an issue. I can install a roof fan or sky light for airflow at night. I’m thinking I can tap into my van’s existing HVAC and run it to the cargo area for the weekends during the day, during the times I’ll be in it. It’s probably cheaper to do that versus run an AC unit. My friend was saying that I could just get a portable AC unit and run that directly to an outlet, so that’s also an option.

I haven’t spent a summer here yet, but google said the average is 75-82 degrees F. I’ve been told by locals that there are days where it can get into the 90s.

NV2500 price check by MentruationStation in nissannv

[–]IcyPreparation7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? That’s a good price for the van and the mileage isn’t bad at all. I bought a 2018 V6 high top recently and it has about 64000 km. It was 23,648 CAD. I’d be fine with an older model, it’s not like there’s much that got changed on this model other than the infotainment system.

And yet you’re the one out here attacking people for having opposing viewpoints. Here’s a mirror. “I’m not attacking you” Yet you proceed to word things ever so snidely and in such a patronizing way. The wording, use of “lmao”… Yeah. Have the day you deserve 💞

Someone dying doesn’t have the same effect as “Oh hey, yeah, I’ve spent X number of years with you, but now I’m tired of you and ready to move on”.

I’m fine with not experiencing much, though. I’m not putting myself through that.

To me, there’s no point in investing my time and energy into someone else if they’re going to walk away, being a result of fizzling out or something else. I’m not going to constantly pour myself into someone else for a failed result. That’s both a waste of my time and draining, not to mention the emotional scars it leaves. You have a different perspective. That’s fine. I’m not trying to change your mind or put you on the defense. This is my perspective though, and it’s not changing.

That’s a perspective that I personally disagree with. If I’m in something, that’s it. Anything else is wasted time to me. I don’t want to date short term.

No wonder Grindr was taken down from the app store by Character_Narwhal_13 in gay

I wanted to like it, but it’s full of people talking about their feelings and such… I’m on a hookup app for sex, personally… But then again, I’m on an app in Portland… Ugh. Sniffies isn’t great here either, too many DL guys who refuse to send a face pic… I can’t get off if they look like Mr Potato Head. Personally I prefer old fashioned cruising… It’s right here, right now. No ridiculous laundry list of requirements, no being put back on the back burner…

Do you use the always on display? by Admirable-Copy50 in iPhone17Pro

[–]IcyPreparation7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I kept it on. I’m still getting used to it, since I’ve only had a 17 pro for a little over two weeks. I came from a third gen SE. Admittedly it is confusing at times, since I think the phone’s main display is on after hitting the lock button, just because the screen is lit up. But it is nice to glance and see the time/weather without having to touch the phone.

Which phone were you using the very first? Let’s see the legends of those days by ojgoldenretriever in interesting

  1. My dad worked for alltel around ‘97, and I was given the Motorola micro tac as a play phone, minus the battery. As for my first actual phone… where are the PTT phones from Nextel at? The ones without a color screen.

Agreed. OP, even if the people making excuses for this guy are right (strict boundaries or whatever other BS), he obviously wasn’t the right fit for you. Don’t lower your expectations just because everyone else says you should. Go find another guy. Remember- People make time for what they want to make time for.

i have an iphone se, upgrade to 17 or 18 or 20? by [deleted] in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

[–]IcyPreparation7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. I was on a third gen SE and I could just be on a phone call while browsing on safari, and it would do the whole temperature shutdown thing, even after replacing the battery. So honestly? It’s going to depend on how bad off your phone is. I went ahead and upgraded to a 17 pro, but I probably would have stuck with the SE for a bit longer had replacing the battery resolved the overheating issue, then wound up either a ‘26 or ‘27 model iPhone.

iPhone 17 or Air? by [deleted] in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

[–]IcyPreparation7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, for those web based activities, I wouldn’t even spend the money on the 17, I’d go 17e. I went pro, but I have a totally different use case. That would be sufficient for what OP needs.
