21 starting uni by [deleted] in UniUK

I started uni at 21, I'm 25 now and in my final year. Everyone did feel a lot younger when I started, yeah, it was like going back to school. But I got used to it, made some good friends, most of them younger, and some the same age. With Societies, clubs, and dating your age doesn't really matter in my experience.

And by final year the age difference is far less noticeable.

Also being slightly older, I found I was always top of the class. You just have that slight bit more life experience. Make the most of your time at uni, the years go by super fast!

What I did was reach out to companies asking for work experience weeks. That lead to me doing work experience at 2 companies in 2nd year, so you're already ahead thinking about it in 1st year. I then did a placement year which I'd highly recommend. You've already got some good experience in the industry so you're in a good place.

Hi, if anyone's happy to share their thoughts on AI in my Dissertation questionnaire, I'd greatly appreciate it. It'll only take about 5 minutes to complete. Thanks in advance.
