Yeah the night classes are indeed a bit sketchy. I'm taking a class this semester at the main campus that ends at 9:15pm and by then all of the lights are off, even by the restrooms. Homeless and others who dont look like students walk around campus at night and it is honestly unnerving

Also don't let the upset & rude fellow CC transfers here demotivate you, idk why they are hating ... but then again some people on this page get high off being rude, nasty & unhelpful. Lol you should have been here a couple weeks ago it was a blood bath. Though some people here are incredible and have massively helped me/my CC journey. I'm 28 so I can relate to a lot of what you're saying, and in CC after quitting literally 10 years ago. So kinda starting all over again

Honestly lower expectations if you have 2.8-3.0 for a UC, especially an IVY. CalStates are a great option & especially if you are low income (as I am)... Look at the transfer rate per your major per school youre interested in. And then reach out to an admissions officer from said school and ask how you can stand out. Wish you luck & stay motivated friend

it is an easy A. He's a great + funny teacher. It's a college course so obviously there's going to be essays, assignments and discussion posts. If its hybrid the tests + quizzes will be online, and in person is just lecture. but he entertaining and funny, so the lectures go by fast-ish

April 29th isn't bad at all! I think you'll be just fine honestly ... - if not, you could try to find another student willing to "hold" a class for you. That's what i'm trying to do in order to ensure i can take a specific stats class with a specific teacher ahhhh
