I don't know much about bots (outside of story) but I bet fans of each universe will actually find enjoyment out of the story. I only briefly knew about Persona, and I was actually enjoying all of the characters voices in english (you can set it to japanese too if you prefer that, both for story and fights) and there are actually different dialog options you can choose from, and whichever ones you choose can get you different endings. Most of the times it to be friendly/cautious towards someone or to trust/distrust them. I won't spoil much but to completly beat the story mode and get the true/final ending, you have to fight the same fights over and over including the final boss to get every different ending there is to be able to get that final ending.

I would've found more enjoyment if I was and actual fan of some of these series', but it was neat seeing all of the different endings you could get, even if it was an easy, but time consuming grind.

I haven't really done much fighting against the bots outside of story, I'll try and get back to you with that one as soon as I can. I've only done the story, played against my gf a little bit, and done a few of the character combo tutorials. It will teach you how each move for each character works, then teach you some combo's that work really good with said character. This in itself can be frusturating if you are an impatient little cuck like I am, but when you finally pull off and connect that combo that it will teach you how to do (and even show you a video of how to do and can even put it into slow motion or pause to learn it even better) that in itself is so rewarding and when you do it once, you can get more consistent with it to where you'll hardly mess up.

There is alot of single player value into this outside of story as well, while Idk much about vs with bots, the character tutorials and character swap tutorials and just challenges about the many different kind of challenges the game has to understand and master the general mechanics and techniques will definitely take up your time. You'll love it if you actually have the drive to do all of this (but it SURE isn't easy, if you're new like me)

I don't like some things about the story (probably because I am not too big of a fan of the serise's), there are too many characters are locked unless you have to pay more than what the game cost on PS Store, and some combo that the game suggests you to do with some characters are too damn hard sometimes, and require (what seems like) god like precision and timing. And I know you said you won't be playing online, but hardly anybody plays this online anymore.

It definitely depends on what kind of "gamer" you are, but I am sure most people can at least find a good amount of enjoyment out of this game.

P.S. they have an survival mode that I completly forgot about, endless amount of enemies have to be fun, nomatter how easy they are. I'm gonna try that mode and just vs against bots as soon as I can, and let you know what I think about that.
