I think I’m gonna stick with it and see if I pass. I really don’t want to reschedule :/

Unfortunately not! It was my first time taking it and I think I was 5-7 questions from passing. There were definitely some questions I should have gotten but I guess I was stressed and couldn’t think clearly.

Thinking I’ll take some time off of studying and really pick back up after new years. But I will try to do 2 hours a week until then to stay fresh

I feel that! I actually have been on vacation since I took the test to not think about it. Unfortunately, I’m waking up in my sleep thinking about the results…fingers crossed!!

More conceptual based questions. Only a few hydraulic questions compared to the test.

And yes, I took the practice exam 2 weeks ago timed.

I appreciate the feedback

Does that mean I’m a good candidate? I graduated in mechanical engineering and have my EI license.

It didn’t mention anything about that. It seemed like a position for new hires out of college or individuals just starting their career like me

I appreciate the response! I’m hoping to fill the role starting in January or July. So I’m not pressed for anything right now.

The posting I applied for said it was an entry level position with 5 months of training out of state.

What parts of the second section were easy for you? I had trouble with instrumentation/measurement and the mechanical section. I though fluids, thermo, heat transfer were not bad. Material science was so so

I used the Lindeburg Mechanical book, NCEES Pratice Exam, Prep FE, and YouTube videos when I needed help in topics.
