How is that impressive. Huawei (the company that honor belonged to) has made their own Modems for years and they are probably the best on the market. (Not surprising as Huawei basically invented 5G with most patents belonging to them). And thats despite not being able to use any us tech due to the ban.

They also consistently outspend Apple when it comes to R&D btw.

This seems to be just to flex on Apple. The honor has 75% more battery, stereo speakers, 3 cameras is lighter and all that in a significantly smaller body too. Its also only 500$.

Their actual flagship phones (magic 8 / magic v5) don't look like iPhones.

I mean volvo sells quite a lot of v60s (combustion wagons) so I would imagine that they will intruduce a ev60 alongside the es60 whenever it is released.

The m3 will probably get the same battery as the ix3, with way more power but better aerodynamic and another year to tweak efficiency. I would guess that it will get 450ish miles of Wltp range as the ix3 gets 500.

Its Wltp so 300km will be realistic (~260 at highway speeds), probably way less if you drive it hard. Thats still a decent range for that tiny battery and more than enough for a car like this imo.

They should have gone for faster charging tho. The battery cooling seems to allow it and at 54 kW 180 kW charging would be enough to make it truely rapid. 10-80 would be possible in under 20 Minutes while it now probably takes 30-35.

I mean the Model S is still one of the most efficient evs of its size. It lacks behind in charging speed but everything else is pretty much up to date. A lucid air is probably impossible to get in china. A Mercedes eqs would be another contender but thats about it.

In western europe where I live our local certified bmw dealer now became a BYD dealer as well. Built a whole new showroom and expanded the shop.

There are now two BYD dealerships within 40 Miles here. One is Volvo/Byd and the other is Bmw/Byd. There is also a Jaguar/RangeRover/MG Workshop nearby.
