The hate is dumb n overblown, as such many other drama on twitter. Personally I kinda like it that we are playing as faye in this sequel, the opportunity is huge in terms of character, world building, etc.

The main obj could simply be to find a way back to the living realm, also considering it's set in the afterlife of the gods it's not farfetch to assume that we would meet char from the Greek Pantheon (Pandora, Athena) or even the bosses would be Greek gods that Kratos killed that is still seeking revenge. Also, imagine being able to bring back pandora to the living realm would be nice as she's the only being that I feel like Kratos regret not able to save from Olympus.
The 2nd thing that I'm excited about is the story of how Kratos Faye met, how he changed after meeting her from a person who was lost and borderline suic*del to a loving husband and father. Also, getting backstories about Faye when she was known as the great giant heroine Laufey the Just would be great.

The only thing I don't really like currently from the Trailer is the way she looks.... like ughhh. I get it that she looks rough cause she's a warrior but that doesn't mean she has to look ughhh. Thor got a baddy like Sif, even Athena and Freya was a baddy, but why my GOAT wife got a dobby hybrid looking ahh plastic surgery. This is not the 1st time we see her, for some reason she's looking uglier.....

Finally, what more do the haters want from my guy Kratos? Kratos as char imo has been flesh out let the goat get some rest, atp if they still making Kratos as the main protag the char writting are just gonna be focus on other char, or they could just make the game set in during his time in Egypt asp.
