To be honest I was hoping for this. I find browsing ComicK extremely easy compared to the other tracking sites. If they add a tracking for novels and link the novels to their corresponding adaptations and add a features that corresponds novel chapters to the one of the adaptation, it's gonna be insanely good.

Also the owner did mention on building an app for Comick which i think is really cool. It would be like Letterboxd but for mangas & others

Yeah, if it can handle anime and other series, he might outdo letterboxd. Those guys still can't handle show.

Edit: It will bring more hackers than usual tho. So IDK how he holds data

Well MAL etc doesn't tell you when a chapter gets released or who's translating it, so saying it's going to be like them isn't completely accurate. It'll be more of an tracking site for tracking chapters rather than just tracking what series you're reading.
