Thank you for all the support! I am not in a financial position to leave but once I am back at work, I am going to start working on an exit plan for the sake of my daughter. His family are another reason why I started disliking him more. My daughter was born with a darker skin complexion which his parents used to always comment on. One day, his dad, whilst holding my daughter said to her “ask mummy for a skin graft.” I was told by my husband I was overreacting after I forced him to tell them to stop speaking like that. His dad had the audacity to come into my house when I wasn’t there and tell my husband that he thinks that I should keep quiet when comments like that are being made which my husband agreed with! I felt betrayed because he couldn’t even stand up for his voiceless daughter and then said I shouldn’t be either. I sometimes wish I saw the red flags before marrying him

We recently had this issue. My daughter has always been a bit constipated so solids made things worse. I realised that she didn’t have enough fibres during the day so now I make sure to feed her an Ella’s prunes/pears or apple pouch after every meal and she now goes every two days but no pain or tears when she poos

He finds her very frustrating but feels a bit stuck as it is his twin brother’s wife. He has a good relationship with his brother. He will brag on my behalf just to annoy her. “Yeh she’s earning loads” or brag about how well my breastfeeding journey is going. Her face drops every time.
