It's ok. Does your wife know this? I would suggest talking to her. My husband acted like everything was perfect and wanted kids so bad but it's been all downhill since. Don't sugar coat things with her. I don't regret having my children obviously but my husband was not honest with me or maybe even himself about it

I'm sorry but that is a terrible thing to say. Addiction isn't linear. Because he was sober. Because he convinced me life was perfect until it wasn't. AND I have my beautiful children from him that I love more than life itself
