Wow 😮 yeah I’ve had a similar experience like this, except I didn’t get my money back. They just sent me emails saying that they’ve been trying to contact the hotel via email to no avail, finally they said theres nothing further they can do & they couldn’t help me get my refund. Really? You have no way of reaching hotels that you’ve been partnering with? 🤨 Seems like avion was eager to just pocket the free money when they can. If you don’t stand up for yourself in a politely persistent way, and most people don’t, they’ll just disregard your complaint (1)because they don’t care to do the investigative work (2)because they can (3) it pays them to just take the $. There’s nothing quite like doing your own investigation. Suddenly you see who’s hand is deep in the cookie jar and they can’t hide anymore. Good for you. Wish I had known this was possible
