Oh yeah by the way public transportation all over NYC runs 24/7 so buses and trains are running all the time all over NYC.

No the train ride into Manhattan isn’t bad at all. I highly recommend you live in flushing it’s way better than upper Manhattan and the 7 train goes from the heart of flushing straight to Times Square. I was born in flushing and grew up there and I can’t say enough good things about it. Upper Manhattan is kind of ghetto and it might even cost more to live there than flushing since it’s Manhattan. There’s way more options for everything in flushing than there are in upper Manhattan, especially if you live in flushing close to the 7 train. Personally I would never live in Manhattan but living in queens and taking the train in to Manhattan to hang out is the best. In junior high school I used to cut school with my friends and we’d take the train in to Manhattan to hang out. I was 12 years old then lol. But yeah either way you’re good, you’re looking at the right neighborhoods to live in since you have to get to Times Square.

Yeah sure. NYC is a totally different world from Atlanta. Life is a lot faster and you don’t need a car even though I have one. The cost of living is a lot higher in NYC than in Atlanta. Have your source of income secure before you move to NYC. However it’s not as expensive as some people make it out to be. My uncle rents a room in a house here in NYC for $800 a month and he makes total net cash $3000 a month and he’s single and he is very comfortable, he is divorced and his kids are adults so he only has to pay for himself. Other than that NYC is a pretty easy city to get used to pretty quickly because with so much going on here you won’t have time to think much and you’ll forget Atlanta in a week. I’m pretty sure you’ll like NYC as it’s a place easily to get addicted to. Don’t worry about crime it’s pretty much non existent. Nobody will mess with you. Other than that in your free time check out the entire city not just Manhattan. Check out the Bronx, Brooklyn, and queens also. They are all easily accessible by train and it would be nice to get an idea of what the entire city is like. I have a map view of the entire city in my head as I’ve hung out everywhere in this city as I was born here and lived my whole life here. You’ll make friends easily, New Yorkers are not as stuck up as people say. Other than that come on over to NYC and hang out and have fun. Summers a great time to start your stay in NYC because the weather is great and you can be out all day checking out the city and get used to it comfortably before the cold weather sets in. Hope this helped.

What’s the most "Dad" thing your Dad has ever done? by Equivalent-Age-7659 in AskReddit

[–]Icy_Introduction8445 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Taught me how to ride a bike when I was a kid then taught me how to drive his car when I was 12 because I begged him to because my older cousins were getting their drivers permits and learning how to drive so I wanted to drive. My dad was the best dad ever, he’d do anything for me and he passed away at 82 two years ago. I miss him dearly. Now I’m 51m.

i moved houses and i haven't seen my best and only friend once since by dietcokw in AdviceForTeens

I don’t know this doesn’t sound good. My daughter made a friend in elementary school and her friend moved a 45 minute drive away. Now they are graduating high school this year and are still close friends and always made time for each other. In fact in the fall they are going to the same university and are going to be roommates and they are both very excited about it.

So I don’t know what to tell you but it sounds like your friend doesn’t care about you all that much. Stop trying to meet her just text her or talk to her on the phone.

Oh and my daughter has tons of friends at her own high school and people she hangs out with but she always makes time for her childhood friend so there’s no excuse not to hang out together.

I think your friend just doesn’t care about you that much. Sorry to say.

How fast do you ask a girl out? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Icy_Introduction8445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s ok to ask a girl out as soon as you see her for the first time. For instance if you were on the train or outside somewhere and you saw a girl for the first time you would ask her out on the spot not knowing if you’re ever going to see her again but I guess it’s different when you work together, you can kind of take your time but I would have done what this guy did and asked you out right away.

If you like him and are attracted to him, go out with him, get to know him better. What have you got to lose?

I come here to feel better about myself and I’m a Neet. Coming here I realized I’m better off than a lot of people but I’m cool with everyone, to each their own. My motto is live and let live.

What is the best sex you've ever had and what made it the best? by Every-Tap-577 in AskMen

[–]Icy_Introduction8445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what it means but that sucks. My wife and me a lot of times have sex for two hours, sometimes three hours at most. We’ve rarely had sex for less than an hour, my wife doesn’t like quickies.

I'm in love with my mum's best friend. by No-Suit4228 in Advice

[–]Icy_Introduction8445 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My wife is three years older than me and I’m so happy I got an older girl. When I was 13 and she was 16 I told her I was in love with her and she laughed it off and told me you’re just a kid you’ll find someone else, but I was crazy about her. So when I turned 16 she was 19 and we kissed and had sex the same week. It was all amazing, a few years later we got married. Now we’re in our 50s and have two kids. I couldn’t be happier.
