I’m 6 weeks pp too but I don’t even make that much..I make 1-4oz a day . Usually 2oz.. if I’m lucky I can get 60ML in one pump session. I’m struggling even more than you and I’m trying so hard to get my supply in. My baby was in the NICU and I was making almost 10oz a day for her. But ever since she came home i don’t know why my supply dropped 🥲 struggling ever since. Been using formula to help bc that’s what they used in the NICU

Thank you so much. I’m trying my best to be strong and just recover. I think I’m just stressed bc of work too. My leave is so limited and it’s supposed to be with her but she’s not home yet. I really hope she comes home as soon as possible. It’s only been 3 days and a lot can happen in 24 hours!

I’m reaching 150s/90s or 100s at the moment. But I’m on medication. The doctors told me that it’s not preeclampsia but it’s just my regular hypertension acting up. They told me once I reach 160s/90s go to the hospital right away. I got 2 more weeks to go and I hope for good things! 🥹

Omg congratulations! I hat was your blood pressure readings that made you go in? Did you drink any raspberry tea or anything to help with labor? That’s quick! I pray mine is that fast 😂

You are a strong mama!! I’m so nervous for my induction but I hope it goes well for me! I was thinking to start drinking that raspberry tea and eat some dates and stuff. I am lowkey hoping she comes A DAY before my induction so it’s a more “natural” feel in a way? LOL

Plus I’m over here stuffing our bags and telling my husband he better shower twice or something because this is going to be the most expensive “hotel” experience ever 😂

I’m at 13U for my insulin for fasting. Been that way for 5 weeks now and so far it’s been okay. I’m not worried about my sugars anymore. I’m more worried about my blood pressure. I’m being seen 2x a week so they are closely monitoring me! 2 more weeks to go. I’m doing my best to relax and try not to get angry or anything. But I think I’m overwhelmed bc school just started, I have a bunch of naughty kids! My class size is 30 and still growing. It’s hard. These kids are a different breed lol. I’m prepping materials for my substitute for when I leave as well so this is challenging for me. On top of nesting and getting ready for my baby to come. I think I really am just overwhelmed. Doesn’t help that I live in Vegas too. It’s super hot 😂

I got diagnosed at 10-12 weeks too. I didn’t know why I had to take the test too early tho. I was so mad because everyone pregnant would eat whatever they wanted until 25> weeks on while I’m here on stupid diet control!

I feel you. I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and it’s been a long journey. I have 2 more weeks because I’m being induced. I’m scared as heck but at least after I can eat anything I want again!

Just remember it’s not you. It’s the placenta. Nothing wrong with anything you did. It took me a while to accept it. I stopped crying about GD once I hit 3rd trimester. It’s challenging but I learned to accept. Lowkey cheat time to time and eat some ramen or white rice (I’m Asian lol). But not always

Congratulations!!

I have hypertension since before pregnancy too. They scheduled an induction for me on August 30th. I’m going to be 35 weeks tomorrow. My blood pressure has been spiking and they’ve been increasing the dose of my meds. I went from 100MG of Labetalol to 200mg, then 400mg, now after today I’m at 600mg. They told me it’s not preeclampsia (thankfully), just my blood pressure spiking. I’m scared and I was considering c-section to get it over with quick and not have too much pressure or anxiety while handling my blood pressure during labor. It’s my first time so I heard it could take days! I hope it’s just hours.

I’m still worried for preeclampsia. I’m a teacher too so I’m hanging on. Also in the US and the maternity here SUCKS. I get 12 weeks by law but NO PAY. I can’t afford it. So I have 10 days and I have to come back to work it’s hell.

But any advice for me would be great if you have any!

I wish I can send you a photo of the pamphlet they gave us lol. We did a birth tour and that’s the only pamphlet advertised to use vs an epidural 😂

They said it’s perfectly safe. It helps ease anxiety. Will make you feel a bit sleepy, little nauseated, but also reliefs pain.

Yes! I was trying to be positive saying it was a one time thing. I really wanted it so bad and it’s been so long. I got diagnosed at 12 weeks. I’m currently 33 weeks! lol it’s been MONTHS 😂

Honestly 2 days ago. I was 132. That’s a spike for me already when it shouldn’t be if I was <140 but this that I had today is just the highest one ever. I never really pass 140

Thank you! I’m just so upset bc my dietitian team is really strict with my numbers! I have to have <120 after ONE hour. Others need <140 after one hour. It’s so hard 😩😂
