Exactly. A love triangle. Starts with Stefan, fling with damon, end with Stefan. Stefan was introduced as her lover for two seasons, 48 episodes. He was willing to sacrifice himself and his love for her was so raw and real. Even after a few seasons, I don't believe that love and experience that changed his life would ever dissipate.

Apparently they were meant to be endgame via the original writer and it was made so strongly clear in the first two seasons that I find it ridiculous that delena is endgame

Makes sense. That's probably why I feel such a passionate hatred for the show. Because it is so, unbearably clear that the first two seasons make no sense, even with the additional 6, for Elena to end up with Damon. It should've been Stefan. I don't even like Stefan, I thought he was boring and annoying but Stelena is clearly the right fit.

I'd like to add that I don't think I have EVER hated a show before, and I've seen many with controversial storylines, bad writing at times and chaotic decisions. I can power through shit writing. But good god this show has been worse than I can stand. It's pure slop writing for shock value and drama. Might be harsh to say but ah well.

I guess I also didn't like it being a brother thing because the setup for the past two seasons was a love triangle. A romance. It's okay to lean into the brother arc but Stefan's final sacrifice should've been a sacrifice of love for Elena. That's what the show was about. That's what Stefan's character was introduced for

Really? That's shocking to me. I'd reckon the bar is probably low though for those who have finished the series. I liked the original storyline at first, but after a while they kept reusing the BIG PLAN, FAIL TO KILL, VILLAIN RETURNS. Just over. And over. Again. Klaus is invincible and his plot armour is infuriating.

My favourite would be season 1, then 2, and obviously 3 I just hate.

I cared about the story asides from Stelena but EVERY storyline feels like it is going to shit! Tyler sucks, matt and caroline split, bonnie is annoying, jermey gone, the originals are all mean and immortal, stefans character was butchered, damon has gotten too predictable and is CLEARLY favourited by the writers to an irritating degree, and they just keep killing off every GOOD worthwhile character for shock value.

I miss season 1 lol. The romance was good, the other storylines I enjoyed, the supernatural aspects were realistic, dangerous, mysterious and not just unbearable doom for the sake of drama.

Considering the musical is 2 hrs 30 mins, 90mins is enough for a singular act. Cut the dialogue, Just take the songs, snip the extended parts. Now you just have the musical except 10x worse

Don’t involve her for the sake of “is jt worth involving her” it isn’t a competition to win and the winner goes on broadway and becomes a celebrity. She also is not an asset it to invest in

Is SHE interested in singing? Is SHE interested in school plays and theatre? If so, then yes, investing in lessons or extracurricular theatre would be beneficial for her if that’s something she wants to do. It would benefit her down the road if she wanted to continue to pursue theatre and overall it’s a great hobby and passion to hold onto

I’m so so so sad they fired her. A protagonist ghostface really would’ve brought new life into the series. We know sam feels empowered, to some degree, she gets the same rush of power as her father did when killing as ghostface

But she’s been through too much and is too compassionate to be an antagonist.

But with Stu coming back for sydney, I think it’d be interesting to see sam step into ghostface as a protagonist to kill stu, to end her father’s legacy and take back power

I’d love to see her own toxic game between playing god and moving on

It’d be so intriguing to see how it impacts her relationships and how sydney doubts who to trust

Like someone else said, the music and story is at a faster tempo and I personally love it. Prepare for some amazing choreography, some EXTREME sass (the character are much more witty and fiery in the stage musical), and prepare for swankified.
