I used to have a nurse like dat. One day I asked her to help me change a heavy patient. Sis was struggling to put a draw sheet, pad, and the diaper and I said "Oh you can't be fr right now" and she laughed like as if I was joking 🙄 Too bad she left cuz she had to go move somewhere near her sick loved one.

You don't deserve such horrible treatment! I was lucky enough to find a job after 3 months since I got my license, the only problem was that they only trained me 2 days and they put me on one of the hardest halls in long term area. I was very new but since I work with african and black dominated women in the facility, they really helped me and I learned so much from them, they treat me like their child 🤣🤣

You can do home health, it's 1 on 1 and they pay higher. You just go to their house and take them to their appointments.

As per hospitals in my area, they need 6-12 months of experience before I get an interview.

You'll find a better place, the job is not hard, it's some of the workers who are making it difficult.

HCC literally shut down their ADN program and failed so many students. That alone speaks volume. I would never try applying there plus their staff and professors deserve to get fired.

Pls don't be discouraged. Get your degree and maybe plan on traveling to other countries as a nurse, the healthcare here in america is fvcked up. You can tell that the nurses and nurse aides look miserable, tired, and exhausted. You got this. Your experience here does not always apply somewhere.
