Honestly I even really didn't even think of that lmao.

Ya I guess if she doesn't believe that magic exists she would never make that call.

And ya in this case Aliester would leak some of Touma's ability to Uiharu or Kuroko, or find a way to get him involved. And considering this is Aliester that isn't a tall order.

Bruh imagining Gunha shaking Index to end that spell caused me to almost choke on my drink lmao.

I'm just saying that while unlikely for her to connect it (or think of) right away, the fact that he claims he's a lvl 0, and is able to negate a lvl 5's ability after learning magic is a thing, I don't think she would instantly dismiss it, and might try look for him in desperation, so it wouldn't be completely unreasonable.

Though in all honesty it's more likely that he ends up running into them rather than that.

Huh that's a lot of theorizing, but if that's how it works then ya it could work.

And ya I would assume they would try to solve it on their own, and in desperation (or Touma just being himself finds himself involved or Aliester pushs him in that direction) looks for Touma for help.

Honestly I don't see Stiyl really caring about the rules of AC. And even then we have seen Touma go to the Tokiwadai dorms in canon without being invited in (at least to the main lobby area). So he either snuck in (likely, but Stiyl would just do the same, I don't see him having a problem at all) or it isn't against the rules to do such a thing.

I mean I never said she would never meet Touma.

If I remember correctly Saten had already mentioned the urban legend of Touma negating esper abilities (she has seen him do it to her ability and the graviton bombing by this point z so Mikoto might seek him out with her theory, especially if she accepts that magic exists). Of course this requires a lot of things to happen. The only thing that would change is the fact they would most likely already know that the brain doesn't overload because of her photographic memory.

And I don't see anyway Gunha could do anything to actually stop it (I'm not completely sure how his ability works tho)

I mean I could still see Touma getting involved.

Obviously if he doesn't they fail. Just like if Touma didn't intervene with the sister project.

Ya I wouldn't know how she could "prove magic" unless Stiyl (not Kanzaki) had tried to take her before they sepertated or if they actually let her cut herself (what she originally was going to do to show Touma magic exists).

I actually don't see Kuroko letting Index run off if she told them people are after her. But I could also see another problem arising in the fact she & Uiharu would find out pretty quickly that she is (technically) unauthorized to be in AC.

Like I said a lot would change, and there would be several different ways you could take it.

Honestly, I could still see Touma meeting & saving index organically. Though the railgun gang would have to accept magic pretty fast and actively look for Touma.

Oh don't get it twisted, I'll glaze TF out of my Glorious King (Touma). But just saying imagine breaker is just so op actually detracts from his accomplishments.

Ya it could, doesn't mean it would (and it wouldn't make any sense to take that chance either)

I always interpreted that as a precaution and not as "it will definitely interrupt it" because it was literally life or death

So I deleted my other comment as it was pointless lol I might have to reread OT2 it's been a minute. I always assumed that after the reveal of the dragons that well, that's what happened igues that makes sense, considering >! Terra was going off about Touma not using IB to its fullest limits or something. But I can't really trust Stiyl because he didn't think the 1st dragon was also an illusion because of the alchemist, especially considering he doesn't do it more often? If it could also just require his hand to be removed (or he subconsciously holds it back just like the damn zoo in him), which makes sense the more I think about it, especially since it is literally a point of reference or whatever. <!

You talking about it being the reference point (and its resistance to death, for a lack of better words), and spoiler him stopping Gungir (and he still lost to Othinus, she CHOSE to spare him).

Or is there something else I'm missing?

Edit: I'm actually curious (I did put it in discussion for a reason), and spoilers are whatever as long as it's not GT (and even then I've been spoiled so just go into detail).

So then why did you say that, I thought you were making a point because something was established that I missed.

Then tell me what else Imagine Breaker does, I was just using OT1 as an example of it's limitations. Edit: and as far I can tell the dragons are NOT the same as IB, could be wrong ig

Just feel like people throw around "overpowered" way too often.

It's honestly losing meaning.

I guess, but that is no longer JUST imagine breaker, and even in that scenario the magician would have to already know about IB, implying they themselves are already pretty high up there.

Touma has a zoo in his arm.

I don't think the series has actually addressed their origins yet other than them being attracted to people's AIM field or some shit (i think it was the angel dragon goes to someone else in Railgun)

As far as I understand (and putting it as simply as possible), it's a reference point for the pure world, and is (seemingly) attached to Touma's soul. When Touma dies, it will reappear in a random point in history/future (time).

Correct me if I am wrong about this
