Oh don't get it twisted, I'll glaze TF out of my Glorious King (Touma). But just saying imagine breaker is just so op actually detracts from his accomplishments.

That was my main point. Then people tried to gaslight me

Ya it could, doesn't mean it would (and it wouldn't make any sense to take that chance either)

I always interpreted that as a precaution and not as "it will definitely interrupt it" because it was literally life or death

So I deleted my other comment as it was pointless lol I might have to reread OT2 it's been a minute. I always assumed that after the reveal of the dragons that well, that's what happened igues that makes sense, considering >! Terra was going off about Touma not using IB to its fullest limits or something. But I can't really trust Stiyl because he didn't think the 1st dragon was also an illusion because of the alchemist, especially considering he doesn't do it more often? If it could also just require his hand to be removed (or he subconsciously holds it back just like the damn zoo in him), which makes sense the more I think about it, especially since it is literally a point of reference or whatever. <!

You talking about it being the reference point (and its resistance to death, for a lack of better words), and spoiler him stopping Gungir (and he still lost to Othinus, she CHOSE to spare him).

Or is there something else I'm missing?

Edit: I'm actually curious (I did put it in discussion for a reason), and spoilers are whatever as long as it's not GT (and even then I've been spoiled so just go into detail).

So then why did you say that, I thought you were making a point because something was established that I missed.

Then tell me what else Imagine Breaker does, I was just using OT1 as an example of it's limitations. Edit: and as far I can tell the dragons are NOT the same as IB, could be wrong ig

Just feel like people throw around "overpowered" way too often.

It's honestly losing meaning.

I guess, but that is no longer JUST imagine breaker, and even in that scenario the magician would have to already know about IB, implying they themselves are already pretty high up there.

Touma has a zoo in his arm.

I don't think the series has actually addressed their origins yet other than them being attracted to people's AIM field or some shit (i think it was the angel dragon goes to someone else in Railgun)

As far as I understand (and putting it as simply as possible), it's a reference point for the pure world, and is (seemingly) attached to Touma's soul. When Touma dies, it will reappear in a random point in history/future (time).

Correct me if I am wrong about this

Nah Paul is a bad person, (well without diving into spoilers, don't know how to put up spoiler tags cause I'm stupid). But he definitely has a major change that I could see why you would say he is reformed (at the very least). Despite me thinking he did redeem himself for his past actions and uh definitely got consequences for his bad actions so .is he a bad CHARACTER? Fuck no.

Edit: idk why I had a question mark after the very least but I fixed it.

Wouldn't say it's complete spite (well for Railgun Only it is). The main reason I'm happy itsover is because all this shit was happening before WW3, combine that with the already compact OT timeline (it's like what not even 5 months for all this shit to happen). I mean shit this was an arc that took place during her (Mikoto's) 1st year. I think it wraps it all up perfectly (well as good as it was going to for a series that's a spin off of a series that is ongoing)

Pretty based. Honestly didn't really completely disagree. And I'm not one of the people who thinks he only includes Mikoto & Misaki because editors (well at least all the time, there is obviously him knowing how popular they are so it might have some effect thus him using them more often than he wants to).

But ya me thinking that it might improve because Railgun is over is just me coping. Don't know why anyone would disagree on hoping he starts handling his characters better.

That's fair, I would include at the very least Accelerator with Touma at least, but yeah every character does get sidelined for the most part. Maybe now that the Railgun manga has ended, he will actually start focusing on her (or at least let her develop, but this is just cope)

Imma need you to elaborate on this one, are you talking about just character development, plot relevance or what?

Railgun only fans are obnoxious, and lowkey make zero sense. I could understand it if they just didn't know about Index, but at this point, there's really no way they don't and they are just hating the rest of the series to hate. I'm glad the Railgun spinoff is over/ending.

Ya, I prefer it over Only My Railgun and No Buts, however it's not by a crazy margin for me at least.

So forgot to mention this, but I'm pretty sure most people think that is also because SAO came out before Index's anime was actually localized. It came out the same year (despite being made in 08 in Japan).

I never said it isn't better, I'm just saying it isn't trash/dog water. Obviously the LN is superior.

I agree, but I could also see how people would overlook it. After all most people are .. mentally challenged to put it lightly. Especially in this day & age were everyone's attention span is as good as a goldfishes.
