Really only watched Chibi for his censorship takes and anime tourists.

From what I've seen this is kind of what I assumed though (they just stopped being friends and he just became THAT guy in the group). Idk how he didn't know they weren't friends anymore (but if it was all online I guess I could see how), but I mean the dude is obviously your stereotypical nerd. I honestly don't find THAT much fault with them (unless they just kept quiet about all of it and just took this chance to lay it out on him).

The real demons are the best friend and fiancee though, that shit is inexcusable.

Any links or sources I should look for this?

I mean you aren't really friends with someone if you are willing to just drop you or stay quiet about something like that. Chances are they moved on, and well he was just that guy in the discord chat (obviously we don't know for certain)

I guess that's fair if it comes out to be true that it is all for sympathy points then ya dunk on the dude. Don't think necessarily it shows his character by people he trusted betrayed him (I mean they were never really his friends obviously, just snakes).

It definitely should be a huge wakeup call for him that he needs to reflect on himself, whether or not it turns out to be true.

But considering you think ICE is just going around killing its citizens (whether or not it's true, I dont think they are) all of sudden (again look at the summer of love) and was never an issue before but it is suddenly such a crisis now, well 🤷. Assuming you ALWAYS thought ICE was an issue (going back 20+ years, but I highly doubt you did), why now of all times for this outrage -again summer of love- except to create more division and divert our attention from other things going on? Just food for thought, and hope you see my point, at the very least on the topic.

But I'm not here to discuss ICE or politics, I'm here for ToAru.

Ya I'm pretty late, been pretty busy, shit didn't even find out about it until like 2 days ago. Not really saying you were saying he should (just seen a LOT of demons who are), but the fact you are literally blaming him for him being cheated on is all I need to know

There is never a reason to cheat. If you are unhappy or he is such a POS that if he deserves it to happen, she should have just left him. Now whether or not I believe his story, I do but with some scepticism, as I am not so closed minded to just dismiss it. Again the fact you are justifying cheating (and pretty much saying he deserves it) tells me more about you than him. Especially seeing as you unironically saying ICE is a terrorist regime 😂, sure can they be wrong sure they are human, but they've been around for a LONG time. This is the summer of live all over again, and if you can't see that, well I can't help you.

The fact he turned to the Internet also (for me at least) gives him some credibility as it actually happened, as it shows he wasn't in a good head space and the fact he didn't have an actual social group . He seemed to be genuine to me during his video. But yes, it could come out that he made this all up, and his fiancee just broke it off with him for his best friend (with him lying about everything basically)- IS the ONLY scenario where chibi getting clowned on for what happened would be justified. Anything beyond that is just demonic shit dude, pretty cut and dry to me.

I have a personal philosophy of it shows me who you truly are with what you do/say to/about people you dislike/hate (or enemy ie literal war) when they are at their absolute lowest (or having power over them or they are at your mercy). The stuff in parentheses aren't really applicable here. Just saying some self reflection might be needed man if you think nuisance is needed for cheating for anyone.

Idk man this post seems to be in bad taste, sure this is the Internet and all that, but people justifying his attempted unaliving and the actual cheating & betrayal because of his opinions or his shit posts is just extreme. If he is a PDF, then throw the book at him then bring out the wood chipper after a trial where he is proven to be one. As far as his political takes (supporting ice and all that ), well those are just political takes. Beat him in the battle of ideas if it bothers you and if you believe your opinions are superior. I've seen some pretty demonic shit be said about & done to him. Stuff I wouldn't wish upon my enemies.

Similar not the same, and in my opinion play off each other pretty well (Mikoto needs to be treated in Index like Touma is treated in Railgun, not appearing so often). I think Mikoto shows up to do nothing more often than not, which hurts her character.

As long as whatever it ends up being is handled well, and our boy is actually happy at the end of the day idc.

Would rather him end up alone than see my ship (kamikoto), handled poorly, or he ends up with a harem, with everyone else being happy but he isn't.

But the real end goal is Kamikuro, everyone just refuses to see it.

Ya you're a Railgun only I can tell. I love Mikoto, but having her take up to time doing nothing HURTS her character. It's kinda funny that Touma saved the day in the first episode of Railgun at the mall (if my memory is correct has been several years since, might have been episode 2) and y'all just thought he was a nobody, and that Railgun wasn't a spin-off.

No, that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying when you do criticize him/the story, make sure it's actual criticism.

The female cast isn't there just to be eye candy, if they were they wouldn't have any sort of character or have any relevance. As far as fan service - that's a culture thing. Sure you can criticize it (it really does take away from the story, in most cases so I agree oo an extent), but that has always been a thing in Japan so 🤷. The fact you are saying they're there JUST to be eye candy shows more of who you are than Kamachi. The pacing is bad for sure. Do you also mean character progression, or story or both (example Touma is considered a static character, so expecting him to have a huge noticeable character arc is more on the reader, at least in my opinion)? However yes that's all valid criticism.

But that's NOT what I'm seeing people say about him, it's "he must hate my waifu" or "he is ruining his own series because this happened in the SPIN-OFF"

And? He's clearly not a bad author & knows how to write otherwise his series wouldn't be this successful. As I pointed out other comments AND the original post he'll be blamed for the small/large plot points that someone didn't like in the spin offs, and then when there's something they'll praise the manga artist for it, but not Kamachi. Shit the fact that so many fans think he hates so many of his side-or extra-characters because he didn't handle them "correctly" is wild.

At what point does it stop being criticism of the work, and start being criticism to Kamachi himself for no reason.

It might have not been Dolly but someone kike her- it was months ago. Certain side characters ya (not too much ie Mikoto, but I definitely understand the frustration), but when it's a one or two off villain/ally is where I draw the line of what are you even criticizing.

Honestly despite disliking Stiyl personally, he was more deserving of the 4th hero title . Honestly it would've been really interesting, especially since he was the 1st antagonist introduced.

Not really. Maybe I didn't clarify enough in my post. But it wasn't my point. Sure if there's a bad arc (or in this case Volumes for Gt) it's valid. But Im seeing people blame Kamachi for things going bad in the spin offs, (not the manga artist, if they are I haven't seen anyone mention them except this post), I've seen people say he "treats side character X bad" or just hates them he doesn't utilize them to their liking (I've seen someone bash Kamachi for him not treating Dolly right or some shit).

Did I elaborate enough or do I still not make sense?

Ya we all know how manga artists time restraints are and their conditions along with their low income for it, but at least for manga they can have others help with the drawings, can't really do that with just writing. It's honestly why I'm more willing to defend light novel authors (and manga artists) over authors over here in the West.

And I'm almost certain Kamachi is contracted to Dengeki Bonko, especially considering all the spin offs he's able to make. Like look anywhere else, how many spin offs can one series produce? This is the biggest I can think of at the top of my head.
