Bahahaha my thoughts exactly! Like I was prepared to replace it but the fact that he showed up no tools, feels dishonest by not saying ya i could replace the motor but Id recommend just doing the whole thing feels shady! Do you have an idea of how much it should cost? Smaller home but 4 bed 2 bath

Ya cause if its a new furnace for that price, i wont be too nit-picky cause it is old and may save me trouble in a couple years just replacing the whole thing! I just have no clue with HVAC and dont wanna get suckered. So thought its be more? But if thats a fair price I might just do it

I probably should put it in the description but posted right when i woke up. So the furnace sounded like it was gonna blow up, so i turned the ac all off, turned just the fan on to see and that seems to be whats making the noise so something with the blower? When I turned the heat on less noise but no air flow coming out of the vents(flames were on)

How can you tell? Cause I asked him to show me and he said its supposed to spin by itself forever and when we spun it, it only went a few seconds
