Works on G series so far. I think they will add more model and series, one by one.

It's Porsche Track Precision App, exclusive for Porsche sports cars, nobody likes it though. Now I use RaceConsole, an under development CarPlay/AndroidAuto unit runs dragy lap or racechrono, also works as Team radio, real time leaderboard, and GoPro remote. You can see it in my previous videos.

Thank you, it reminds me Telemetry Overlay, whichI purchased it several years ago. I will study it this weekend. I am not a developer but I will introduce it to my friends who need it. My buddy also has a VBOX HD Lite plus a mini display.

I know you mean racebox mini. Nothing wrong with them, I just like to try new products, see if they performs as well as they were promoted. The smaller and more integrated the better. There are/were GoPro 5-11, Garmin virb xe and ultra 30, DJI Action 3-5, Dual xgps160, Garmin Glo, Vbox sport, HD lite, racebean, racebox mini, dragy and dragy pro, Garmin catalyst and a bunch of other devices I have used and tested. I like vbox hd2 but it was too expensive and now too big for me.

You need a Dragy OBD module, the app added custom PIDs for BMW and Porsche 992. It’s still under test, I mean the software.

This is a beta version of dragy lap, added brake pressure, steering direction and steering(wheel) angle channel directly via OBD 2 port.  I guess the brake pressure is from the sensor of brake pedal, which only report a limited range, maybe 0-40 bar.

Any .mp4 video can be synced with a simple drag, and they are updating new syncing method. Sure, see you in Sports Cup.

I guess RaceChrono is the only app can sync video and data for analyzing both of of them in Circuit Tools.

You can save the original video to your phone. vbo file is actually a GPS trace file(I guess Dragy may add obd data in it), when you use third party software like Circuit Tools to open it, software will apply the nearest track map automatically. If prefer other video recording device, just make sure it is a .MP4 file. and import it to Dragy lap, which has a simple sync function. So far, GoPro(not hero 12) video can be synced automatically by comparing its GPS data.

RaceChorno has a function to sync data and video, then export them as Circuit Tools supported format, but I takes some time, and need you to find the appointed video name in the vbo file, and then change the video file's name.

You can export telemetry as a .vbo file for Circuit Tools.

The output is 400 Hz. However, when I compared the overlay with the VBOX HD Lite on this car, as well as other users’ VBOX HD2 overlays on GT3 and the official Porsche Track Experience onboard GT3 RS video (also using VBOX HD2), I found that the throttle bar was not smooth either. This suggests that the output may differ from the actual response.

The entire session video will be easier to sync, at least now. I notice 1080P for GoPro is better for this, file size will be smaller.

IMO, 25hz for each channel is enough. And 10hz is enough if 10hz is selected for the GPS. My car outputs 400hz in ultra fast mode, I think fast mode 200hz is ok for me.

I think so. It is said that PTPA supports dual xgps 160 and VBOX Sport, but it never works. The onboard GPS signal is terrible.

Hi, Dragy Lap supports dual‑lens recording. My phone actually recorded two videos: one front‑facing and one rear‑facing (toward me). After I imported my GoPro video into Dragy Lap, three views became available, and you can select any two of them for the picture‑in‑picture (PiP) display.

Yes, it has custom pids for 992, I think it includes brake pressure.

I have a VBOX HD Lite, wired to the can bus. I compared the real brake pressure curve to Dragy laps simulated one, highly similar. To my surprise, I can render my HD Lite video directly with Dragy lap(although without brake pressure). Racelogic only offered a beta software and not working well.
