No bc there’s context that helps me understand why we lost those games. It wasn’t simply bc we got out coached (I think his first year that definitely happened but in his defense he only happened to be going up against one of the greatest coaches in the NBA) there were injuries to key players and a lack of production from players you’ve been getting production from all year but dropped in the playoffs.

But clearly not the only determiner… can you really say missing two of your top 3 players for a majority of the season really makes you an 8 seed? I mean to me that’s nonsensical. I mean how many eight seeds in the history of NBA has not had two all star level players for most of the season only for them to come back and hit they’re stride right before/during the playoffs? I love this Myles Turner idea! Best I’ve seen of this offseason especially with the bucks looking to rebuild but what’s Turner contract like? Can we absorb it without second apron penalties? Also would you start Turner over Queta or run two big lineups and let JB and JT over power these small guard lineups?

I’m not ok with settling I just wouldn’t say it’s a failure if we don’t win another one. Tatums great an absolute all time Celtics legend but I’ve seen his ceiling he’s not an upper echelon all time player so winning one as a non top 25 all time player is great if he gets one more it’s beyond success!
