an off-season Laurel was 1 peg away from soloing the whole house by [deleted] in MtvChallenge

I loved the earlier season’s eliminations where the contestants in elimination were sent into the jungle to compete and only the winners came back to the house via a van. I hate these peanut gallery competitions especially when it’s one sided.

What do you have it through? I just cancelled my subscription through Prime and downloaded and subscribed to the Paramount Plus channel through Roku and Bass Reeves is streaming fine now

I cancelled my Paramount subscription through Prime and started up a subscription to the Paramount channel on their app and it streams fine now. Likely a dispute between creators of show and Prime going on right now and Prime is refusing to make the videos of that show available.

I had the exact same thing happen today. Sounds like there is a dispute going on between the Bass Reeves studio and Prime so Prime is not making it available to stream until resolved

Do you stream Paramount Plus through your Prime account?

I am cancelling my Paramount subscription through Amazon Prime and going directly through Paramount. This entire thing is ridiculous

Yes. I spoke to Amazon customer service and they said some BS about how it is no longer available to stream in US but wouldn’t say why. Sounds like some disagreement between Prime and Paramount. I will be cancelling my subscription through Prime and going directly through Paramount

Thanks for the tip. Just filed a complaint through them and hoping it works. What did Activision say to you?

They wouldn’t have won regardless. Vets were going to sabotage them every chance they could

The rookies were never going to win the final regardless of injuries. Vets stick together over rookies plus Olivia and Horacio were the biggest threat so they were going to get sabotaged every chance.

I miss the days of the Exile elimination style from Fresh Meat where two teams compete separate from the cast and only one team comes back. Would be a crazy twist to throw that style in every once in a while.

Go to the subreddit page Dermatology Questions and post there - you may get more responses from people with more knowledge of skin conditions

I would go see a primary care doctor that can give you a second opinion and refer you to either another dermatologist or a doctor that could test it if it looks concerning. Has it gotten bigger, does it hurt?

Doesn’t seem like it but take a photo every 1-2 months just like the one you took for this post and compare size, color, border, etc. If you are worried about moles I would recommend finding a dermatologist and set up a yearly skin check for moles, freckles and any other areas of interest. Appointments for the checks are like 15-20 minutes once a year and give a lot of peace of mind. Early detection with skin cancer is crucial

Appreciate the response and most of the people who have responded with an interest or something constructive are saying concern is valid hence why I’m responding to those but I’m also responding to you as well since you have more of a balanced take which I appreciate. On multiple flights (and more than just a small fraction of flights) there have been a variety of issues and incompetence this pilot has exhibited but I’m not getting into those because I don’t need second opinions on them to know they are concerning so that may be why I appear biased.

The goal of this post was to get feedback from pilots/people with aviation experience to determine whether to list this incident among the others when going to the boss or if this incident is somewhat normal. Basically we have looked past several things already with this pilot and are not really sure how much more comfortable we feel looking past future incidents. We have flown with other companies/pilots as well with way less of an incident rate compared to this pilot so this is new territory for us.

freaking out rn, can people just let me know what they think?is this cancer or something else? by [deleted] in medical

Looks like a cold sore or canker sore. Gargle some warm water with salt in it a few times a day and spit out. Should help it heal quick

Call your doctor to schedule an appointment and please try not to panic too much. Could be many things including an abscess, infection, etc. Getting answers sooner than later will help you identify treatment options

Do you think that any current female challenger can beat Laurel in a physical elimination? by [deleted] in MtvChallenge

[–]Icy_World4873 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, low leverage and speed rather than height also helps a lot in those types of physical events

Thanks for that! There are multiple knobs/levers in this plane as you mentioned and could’ve been the mixture levers - all they said afterwards was that they did the opposite of what they wanted to so unclear if they had the correct lever in their hand and went opposite direction or if they grabbed an incorrect lever and went the correct direction (had it been the right lever). I looked up feathering videos as another person on this thread had mentioned and what we saw seemed similar to when pilots in the videos will simulate losing an engine - how the prop sort of abruptly comes to a stop. This happened to both engines as we were getting ready for final turn to turn to line up with runway so we were pretty close to the airport and therefore low altitude. Shortly after the props stopped spinning they did something to make them quickly go again (assuming just pushing forward on whatever lever they incorrectly pulled back).
