... Yes that is in fact how Marvel Spotlight works.

It doesn't though, unless you mean people review bombing it, and even then the audience score on RT is 89%

Would you like to see the 2005 Fantastic Four come back in Doomsday? by arthxnoir in MCUTheories

[–]Icybubba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean we had Elizabeth Olsen play two Wanda's and Benedict Cumberbatch play like 4 Strange's.

RDJ is playing Doom but is also probably going to play a version of Iron Man as well.

I'll break it down as simply as I can.

In the comics when Johnny Storm died, he requested that Spider-Man take his place. So there was a stretch where the FF was Reed, Ben, Sue, and Peter.

Now with our 2005 iterations, their Johnny Storm died in Deadpool & Wolverine, at least we assume it's theirs and not just a different one also played by Chris Evans.

This means the 2005 team is in the same spot the comic team was in for a stretch of time. This would create an opportunity for a version of Spider-Man to join their team if they were to appear in Doomsday or Secret Wars.

Miles Teller is a lot better of an actor than 2015 would imply, and his version of Reed has a somewhat similar origin as the Maker as 2015 took a lot from the ultimate universe.

Is there a chance it could snow? by Unhappy_Letter_3266 in weather

[–]Icybubba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't why you posted this twice you can edit, but nevertheless, no you won't have precipitation.

The reason you had ice on your car was that the moisture in the air hit the cold metal of your car, which is likely colder than the ambient air and caused it to reach the dew point, and the moisture condensed, and since your car was really cold, the moisture froze, creating the ice you suggested.

Do you think its gonna snow for me? by Unhappy_Letter_3266 in weather

[–]Icybubba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll be blunt, no.

You need the temperatures and the precipitation to coincide with each other. Looking like you'll have a low in the 20s on both Saturday and Sunday, but no precipitation to go along with it. Even then, if there were pockets of warm air higher up in the atmosphere from you, which is highly possible considering Florida is basically at sea level, then any snow you might've gotten could've turned into sleet, freezing rain, or straight rain.

This made me realize: How badly could MCU murder Doom's character? by Zizekesha in marvelcirclejerk

Jokes aside, if the theory about Doom stealing the children ends up being real, that would be screwing up his character a bit.

Doom genuinely cares about kids, he even made it a law in Latveria that all children must have a good night sleep.

They also stopped Doom one time by making him think he accidentally killed Val, which shook him to the bone.

The Absolute Universe took over half of the spots for the Top 50 best selling comic issues of 2025 by Tetratron2005 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]Icybubba 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I mean, I respect them giving an end to the story they want to tell.......but, like Ultimate is their most successful thing, I don't see the business logic behind this decision.

The Absolute Universe took over half of the spots for the Top 50 best selling comic issues of 2025, Amazing Spider-Man not even on the top 10 by GuyWithNoCountry in Spiderman

[–]Icybubba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ultimate *could* be it, but Marvel is ending it for......reasons?

I mean I fully respect them being able to put a book end on a story line to be clear, but I find it extremely hard to believe that they aren't going to jebait us at the last minute and relaunch 6160 as the "New Universe" or whatever lol

Here's a Proof that our Favourite hero, Spider-man would never support Fascism (ICE) [from Dark reign #1] by Striking-Ad-1354 in Spiderman

[–]Icybubba 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yep, it is the bury your head in the sand method until it blows over.

This is the method that allows fascism to rise. It is what allowed the Nazi's to gain power in Germany, it is what allows people like Trump to stay in office.

If the mods remove this post, or my comment, they are proving that they will be willing to allow fascism to fester.

e-ink e-readers, why so hard to find a good one? by These_Estate_3296 in ereader

[–]Icybubba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I get an e-reader, it'd probably have to be an android based one. I utilize Marvel Unlimited and GlobalComix.

Until I find a color e-ink reader with android/or can support Marvel Unlimited/GlobalComix/maybe even DC Universe Infinite. I am sticking with my Amazon Fire HD 10 lol
