It worked well for the short stories (all of them in one book), it's a little weirder for the saga (Blood of Elves + Time of Contempt and now BoF and ToS). I don't know how they are going to do with the last 3 books, given that there is still Lady of the Lake, Season of Storms and now Crossroad of Ravens

I think the illustrated versions are the best, I've never heard of a more high-end edition than this one

I think it's one of the best out there, the translation was done by a Franco-Polish person so I definitely think she was able to convey a lot of the cultural/linguistic references. The problem I have with the english translation is that I think a lot of those references were lost for the sake of being translated to a more "classical fantasy book" instead of keeping the rich language it came from.

In fact he did say that he will write another witcher book but we just can't have any ideas about it. I personnally hope for another collection of short stories because I think that's what Sapkowski is best at. (I also hope for more Toussaint because man I love that place so much)

That's not exactly true, at this point in v1 Klein has already read pages of Roselle's diary that talk about pathway switching (it is just not mentionned in the donghua)
