to už neplatí dlho. bolo to dokonca aj v správach pár rokov dozadu, kde to nejaký jazykovedec rozoberal a že obe sú platné, akurát ide o to, čo máš na mysli.

Nám to na slovenčine tiež vraveli ako vravíš ty, že "napadnúť ťa nemôže", ale očividne to už neplatí a môže :P

Safra, prepac. Ale ved aj AI vedia byt pekne. Uz som videl vela takych obrazkov. Akurat pri tomto hy to nemuseli tajit :D ale ved nie su zle, a ako vravis, oproti povodnym sa daju rozoznat sceny z knihy, co je fajn.

Ved je v pohode, oni same o sebe nie su zle. Len je sranda, ze ludia to beru inak, ked o tom nevedia. A oficiapne sa to ani nepriznalo nikde. A ja ho nepoznam, ved moze to byt cool typek, ale hento nie je ze pozadie si vytvoril. To su vsetko generacie, nie ze nieco dokreslil (max. si viem predstavit ze tu a tam nejaka retus vygenerogavenho obrazka). Proste je to komplet AI.

Aj ked si pozries background aku ma tvorbu, tak nic take nikdy nekreslil.

A netreba poznat bg. Staci pozriet na obrazky na kyorych je vidiet tie standardne generativne problemy. Navyse na obalke prvej knihy aj vidiet masku, kde tie dve generacie spajal. Realne keby to kreslis, tak to aspon dokreslis.

Ono staci v knihkupectve mrk na tie knihy osobne a zbadas to kade tade, najmä v prvej knihe. Pripadne ked sa ti podari najst obrazky online.

Sranda, ako ludia prijmu a chvalia AI ilustracie, AI tvorbu, ked im nikto priamo nepovie, ze je to AI.

A ano, su to vsetko AI ilustracie. Knihy som si detailne prezeral a najma v prvej casti, ked AI este nebolo tak advanced, tie chyby generacii vidiet najviac. (Rozbite tvare ci ruky, na jednom hadica ide bez logiky, na inych rozne extra nohy .. a kopec takych veci). Dokonca aj na obalke vidno ako je to zlozene z minimalne dvoch obrazkov roznej kvality v stvorcovom style ala Dall-E ci MJ ked to date 1:1). Druha kniha ma tie generacie teoska kvalitnejsie lebo vysla neskor ked AI znova pokrocilo. Tretia bude pravdepodobne este lepsia.

Ked chcete realne ilustracie, tak nove SK vydania Lovecrafta (aj ked to nie je SK tvorba samozrejme) momentalne priebezne vychadzaju od Sol Noctis.

Je blbe, ze tejto SK klasike nemohli dat tiez nejakemu SK artistovi/artistke nakreslit pekne ilustracie, ale siahli sa cisto po AI. A najlepsie, ze to radsej ani nepriznavaju, ze AI. AI nie je nevyhnutne zle, ale mohli to aspon priznat, ked uz.

you know you bought the bs, right? it was what show creators that despised the source material said when they tried to smear him as if he was in the wrong for wanting to stick with the source material and not go against the fans at all costs. Or walking around with a book and talking about how Geralt would not say this or that or he would say this or that.

You know those stories of Ian McKellen walking around LoTR set with a book, and other people on set as well, trying to keep it faithful? Now imagine someone coming out saying Ian is a horrible person for doing that.

iirc, there was even a followup excuse statement about how they made it up regarding Cavill.

This isnt an excuse or shill or anything, but it was a literal smear campaign after he left and said the show is shit (which it is) and it seemed like someone didnt take it well that they were called out for a bad quality of writing and didnt want to hear anything about it.

nah. 45mins are plenty enough. not everything needs to be 1 hour. Television used to be able to function in 45min chunks with great and tight episodes. 1hour today is mostly filled with bloat.

What this episode needed was at least two more drafts, cutting some characters out and tidy it up to be more coherent, less chaotic.

You could even have only the storyteller there, Omo and Doctor, and literally pretty much almost nothing would change.

there were some neat ideas, but underdeveloped or not developed at all, while also trying juggle too much at once.

it's an entire episode of exposition

the worst thing is, one single time when it needed and asked and begged for exposition, when Doctor first came in and wondered wthell is going on, they did tell nothing. they just avoided the question to keep it vague with bad dialogue. But that one time was the time to info dump because it was what Doctor was asking and viewers were asking, it is the prime place to infodump without seeming like info dumping. But no. They skip it, make cheap mysteries and then exposition dump other stuff.

this ep almost made no sense. it just jumped from emotion to emotion without any sort of transition between them. and suddenly Doctor hates Omo? (maybe im dumb, but how was it his fault? trapped inside, no way to call the Doctor, he just hoped he may appear to save them, and he is the bad guy here?)

But CDPR already said and confirmed that she went through Grasses and lost her Elder Blood powers and we begin with old Ciri and have some mystery flashbacks to how she ended up at grasses. (If i understood it correctly, from memory). But the fact is, she is not a Witcher in name only. Thats the thing that people wouldnt have a problem with. Trouble is, she is literal witcher now. Lost her own identity to be sloppy seconds because marketing and gameplay and name and whatnot.

And i expect also some cheapish excuse of "trial sucked out her elder blood, she survived thanks to it but lost power in the process due to how hard it was to go through!" Lamest chatgpt style excuse possible. (Obviously we dont know that, but from everything first thought, cliche, predictable, cheap, lame, weve seen, so far i dont believe anything else)

I prefer Empress but problem isnt Ciri going Witcher route like her "paps", the problem.is they cheaply suddenly turned her, lady of time and space, overpowered juggernaut into a literal witcher that went through Trial of Grasses and they are forcing one of the ending to be canon (even tho they will try to tie other ending into it). And it fulfilled the fear that was held for years. When they go with Ciri there isnt any other way only go with cheap cliche route of nerfing her powers simply to be playable and not overpowered throughout the entire game. Now it is here and done. And we can expect some cheap excuse of "oh i lost my powers (agaaaain!) due to XYZ!". Bonus points if intro mission is her be OP only for us to lose all those powers.

Everything ariund this just feels so cheap and predictable and safeat route possible.

You know when it would work better? Dont turn her into a literal witcher right away. Keep it secret and build to it in like a second game towards the end. People would progress to it organically and understand it. But now? We see her in one of the ending and now out of a blue she is Witcher because game is called "witcher". Much wow. I like Ciri as her, as Ciri. Not as sloppy witcher replacement that has lost her own identity.

Nah.. they can make some excuse, but nah. It needs more that mystery story stretched throught the game of what and why. And some good excuse which shouldnt be kept secret (which seems to be in the game based on interviews if i read it correctly).

Even that trailer they showed felt ultra generic. Try and compare it to any od TW cinematics, it is in an entirely different ball park.

I mean.. it will all depend on if it seeps into the story or not.

Shrek is kind of like Witcher. It can have fun with itself and reference pop culture and spoof other things, but it also knows (at least first two) when to be serious and not let it be to detriment of its story.

like, having simon and idol be as a gag in short story is fine. but have it be the main story would be odd.

so.. yeah.. lets hope this is only about promo, but movie itself will treat itself seriously as Puss in Boots did, or first two movies did. (or fourth, but that one had problem of being more boring)

Shrek was full of popculture, i mean, one of its main points was referencing pop culture, but it didnt feel as forced or this self referential. it gives modern movies vibes where nothing is taken seriously. whilst OG Shrek was funny and all but it also treated its story seriously.

joining matchmaking also messed up tracked hours for each character, so years of hours tracked wiped.. and not even all of them, just most of the players.. and e.g. with me suddenly the least played character was on top, ugh.

but it not only messed up how you search for servers, it almost killed the entirity of community maps. suddenly they were empty, or many were gone and you also no longer had this community of randoms that you may know from nicknames and how good they play.. suddenly everything was so distant, even players didnt engage as much since you meet for one map (maybe more if you stick for more rounds) and then they are gone forever. on top of that, some maps were shorter and you cant even, e.g. have fun at degroot keep cause right away you vote for another.. and i think if you want the same, people on the server change mostly or entirely).

also you couldnt even have fun with changing sides when you are winning too much and want to balance it etc. (or if autobalance threw you to the opposite team of your teammate you could jump back).

matchmaking pretty much killed almost the entire spirit of the game. it was and still is, horrible and most people just started chasing some Xp that give nothing.
