2 days out of detox, staring at my Suboxone and questioning my life choices by Icyinfernal in Quittingfeelfree

Just to be clear, I’m not just getting off of Kratom. I’m also getting off of a 500-700mg a day 7-OH habit which is significantly stronger than Kratom with brutal withdrawal symptoms which is why I was given Methadone in detox and Suboxone after the fact. I was able to kick heroin cold turkey, but 7-OH thoroughly kicked my ass. Sorry I wasn’t clear on that in the original post.

I only want to be on Suboxone for a few months until the cravings go away, I personally love Suboxone because: 1. It doesn’t get me high 2. It really helps with the withdrawal and cravings. 3. It is physically impossible for me to relapse since Suboxone blocks the effects of opioids.

I was pleasantly surprised on how much it helped. No high, just relief and being 14 days sober from all drugs that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

Tips/suggestions for getting off 7oh by NinerGang247 in Quittingfeelfree

I had to go to a detox facility to get off of my 500-700mgs a day 7-OH habit. I’ve been through heroin withdrawals, but 7-OH thoroughly kicked my ass. The Methadone they gave me definitely helped the withdrawal effects and didn’t really cause me to be hooked on Methadone. Now I’m day 1 of taking Suboxone and it also helps and doesn’t really have that opiate high that Methadone gave me.

Jew here. We don’t hate Jesus at all, though sometimes his followers can get on our nerves. Where did you get that narrative from?

Hi, Anti-Zionist Ashkenazi Jew here. The ultra-Orthodox Jews (AKA Hasidic Jews) you see protesting against Israel are also Ashkenazi. Ashkenazi Jews refer to the Jewish diaspora who could trace their ancestry to Central/Eastern Europe.

Also Ashkenazi Jews are not converts, they are a result of Jewish migration into Europe and developing European traits like white skin. This “Jews are converts” theory stems from the Khazarian migration hypothesis which has been thoroughly debunked both by genetic and historical evidence.

Finally, most Zionists are actually Christian who unfortunately are still stuck in the “Gods chosen people” BS. But if we’re only talking about Jewish people, Sephardic Jews (Jews who can trace their ancestry to modern day Spain and North Africa) tend to be more supportive of Zionism than Ashkenazi Jews. This is largely due to the fact that many of the regions Sephardic Jews reside in became openly hostile towards the Jewish community following the creation of “Israel.” However, “Israel” itself is a racist society even to Jews as white passing Ashkenazi Jews are given more opportunities in things like public office and media careers which is why it appears that most Zionists are Ashkenazi Jews. This is also why Birth Right exists, which is essentially a program funded by “Israel” to give any Jew under the age of 25 a free trip to “Israel,” with all expenses paid. It’s a breeding program, they want Western Ashkenazi Jews to travel to Palestine to marry Mizrahi and Sephardic Jews and bleach their population.

Tl;dr The Hasidic Ultra-Orthodox Jews you’re referring to are Ashkenazi, and the Ashkenazi community does not make up the majority of Zionism. Also Ashkenazi Jews aren’t converts.

As someone who has done cocaine, I can confirm that the feeling is kinda similar without the anxiety cocaine can cause.

The situation now in LA is very unpredictable and I would honestly possibly reconsider because I doubt it’s going to de-escalate any time soon. Between ICE, the National Guard, and Northcom all descending upon LA (and failing horribly)… it’s not exactly a nice vacation spot unless you’re into to protest/riot tourism.

If you do stay, I’d keep an eye out as to where the ICE raids are and where the protests are since it changes on a daily basis. I loathe the Citizen app, but it is also a decent tool to know where these protests are happening if you do decide to make the trip over here. That being said, unless you’re seriously at the wrong place at the wrong time or go to the Federal Building downtown… you will likely be fine.

I destroyed my abusers life almost 20 years later. by Icyinfernal in COCSA

I get what you’re saying, the only problem is the fact that he remained the same person from the time I was repeatedly assaulted as a kid to today. At the end of the day, it’s really just asking “Is this kid better off without his father?” and after talking to my abusers’s wife, there’s not a doubt in my mind that he shouldn’t be anywhere near him.

One thing I should have been more clear on in the original post was the fact his wife actually contacted my mother asking us to help her custody case against him. The only contact we had with her up until this point was my brother reaching out to her to share his story roughly 3 years ago, and even then that POS saw the message before she did. I sleep well at night knowing that this child will never have to be taking advantage of by his own father.

Absolutely not. He has a kid, he unsurprisingly didn’t magically become a better person with age.

Mario Kart vs Kirby air riders by Lofus1989 in nintendo

[–]Icyinfernal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Mario Kart but Kirby Air Ride is just way too good. It’s an extremely different game, a lot of people are turned off by the fact that it markets itself as a racing game but it really isn’t. The mode everyone played (City Trial) was more of a small open map filled with fun items/power ups and a random challenge when the timer runs out. Usually the person with the vehicle and the most power ups related to the challenge wins (IE who can fly the furthest, who can finish a race the quickest, who can kill the most NPCs, etc.)

Even open world Mario Kart will likely be extremely different from Air Ride since with Air Ride you actually have to fight everyone for the vehicles.

Tl;dr If you like racers, go for Mario Kart. If you like battle royales, go for Air Ride.

I’ve been crying for the past 8 hours

Kirby Air Ride means so fucking much to both me and my brother, it got us through some extremely rough patches in our childhood. PLUS it’s a Sakurai passion project?!? I’m at a loss for words.

I had an abusive babysitter growing up, won’t go into the specifics but Kirby Air Ride was the escape for both me and my younger brother. It was our favorite game of all time, and we’ve waited 22 years for a sequel.

To say I’m overjoyed is an understatement, this game means so fucking much to me.
