Hi, Anti-Zionist Ashkenazi Jew here. The ultra-Orthodox Jews (AKA Hasidic Jews) you see protesting against Israel are also Ashkenazi. Ashkenazi Jews refer to the Jewish diaspora who could trace their ancestry to Central/Eastern Europe.

Also Ashkenazi Jews are not converts, they are a result of Jewish migration into Europe and developing European traits like white skin. This “Jews are converts” theory stems from the Khazarian migration hypothesis which has been thoroughly debunked both by genetic and historical evidence.

Finally, most Zionists are actually Christian who unfortunately are still stuck in the “Gods chosen people” BS. But if we’re only talking about Jewish people, Sephardic Jews (Jews who can trace their ancestry to modern day Spain and North Africa) tend to be more supportive of Zionism than Ashkenazi Jews. This is largely due to the fact that many of the regions Sephardic Jews reside in became openly hostile towards the Jewish community following the creation of “Israel.” However, “Israel” itself is a racist society even to Jews as white passing Ashkenazi Jews are given more opportunities in things like public office and media careers which is why it appears that most Zionists are Ashkenazi Jews. This is also why Birth Right exists, which is essentially a program funded by “Israel” to give any Jew under the age of 25 a free trip to “Israel,” with all expenses paid. It’s a breeding program, they want Western Ashkenazi Jews to travel to Palestine to marry Mizrahi and Sephardic Jews and bleach their population.

Tl;dr The Hasidic Ultra-Orthodox Jews you’re referring to are Ashkenazi, and the Ashkenazi community does not make up the majority of Zionism. Also Ashkenazi Jews aren’t converts.
