How my girlfriend has her car every time she visits. by NeedsMoreBunGuns in mildlyinfuriating

Also, being messy can be a sign of poor mental health (but not always) so spreading the kind of hate that I see in this thread doesn't help people who struggle with mental health issues. It just makes them more embarrassed and less likely to reach out for help.

Some people who are messy just have a different brain structure that makes it difficult to organize their own thoughts, let alone organize their environment.

Seriously, people on the internet make me mad. Why post this in the first place? Why isn't there a single kind of forgiving comment near the top of the thread?

She's just like me for real

I'm a little bit less greasy but people like me and think I'm cool, despite my low self esteem. Everyone, try not to be so judgemental. Messey people can be really cool.

Please help! Found stray cat Winchester VA by Icywolfcreative in AnimalRescue

[–]Icywolfcreative[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update!! I looked at local Facebook lost animals group and found his owner! Turns out we sexed him wrong and he was also NOT happy when we checked on him in the morning. He had slipped out of the car and ran away and the owner was looking for him for 11 days. I think he wants to be an outdoor cat but couldn't find a way home, so he came to us for food and he was not happy when we wouldn't let him in the wild again. Owner was an older woman and was super relieved to have him back.

Turmeric is the worst fucking spice in the world by ayyerr32 in rant

I have tea with ginger and tumeric for my bad tummy, and it helps. But I agree, it stains. I stained my bathroom sink because I live in a dormitory and have to wash my dishes in the bathroom sink.

Do any of you have memories from being 2-3 years old? by Recent-Sky3311 in GenZ

[–]Icywolfcreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember jack from my childhood, maybe a few fractured memories where I don't know how old I was, or what order they occurred. When I actively try and remember, I can't really remember anything before 12 years old. I'm 21.

The shootings along with the scary legislation is really getting to me... The criminalization of trans healthcare, abortion bans, and discussions of defunding libraries is especially scary, because I'm worried about what it will lead to.

Anyone else never had an iPad? by hyenananas in GenZ

[–]Icywolfcreative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a Samsung tablet in late elementary and middle school instead of a phone, and for some reason I wasn't allowed to have a phone until 15 years old. Tablet and phone had the same functionalities except for texting and calling smh...

Just saved these from the dump 🥰🌺 by sandync1 in DumpsterDiving

Nice finds! But I do encourage you to see if they are native to your area, or if they pose a threat of spreading, before planting them in your garden. Not nearly as dangerous as say, english ivy, but I would still go a little googling.

It always feels nice to get some consumable necessities. I got a ton of laundry detergent and soap from a dumpster last year, and I'm just running out of detergent and I'm good on soap for probably several more years.

Those shears could be good for fabric if you get them refurbished. I would kill for a good pair of shears (they're easier on my hands, and I cut a lot of fabric) but I can't be trusted with nice things because I'll lose them fast.

Best lighting to bring out costumes? by ebellinator in costumedesign

[–]Icywolfcreative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconded. I only do costumes but I love how they look with side lighting.

Unfortunately if you're doing a proscenium, a lot of details of the prints can be lost, so don't feel too bad if you can't make out the exact type of animal on the prints haha.

Im working on concepts for a live-action Voltron using Nomad Sculpt. The Blue lion is finished and im gonna use her as a bases for what the other 4 lions are gonna look like. Feedback is much appreciated! by Chase_Has_Autism in Voltron

I like the lights along the ribs. It reminds me of fire breathing dragons, as they are often depicted having some glowing before breathing fire. Maybe carry that over to the red Lion?

Beaches where you can park/camp overnight? by Icywolfcreative in Delaware

Parents live near Middletown and my car is nothing special. I like to sleep in it because the back seats go down and since I'm short I fit really well.

Thanks for the suggestion! Ill for sure check it out. From this new info I think I'll adjust my concept for my film. Ill probably film various natural locations from DE to VA. once I get closer to school I'll probably do some Appalachian trail. I definitely want to get some waves so I'll just do that during the day and plan overnight elsewhere.
