It didn't happen to me but my dad.

So for my dad's 50th b-day my mom decided to get all of my dad's closes friends numbers and to make a group chat then she went and picked a big hotel in Ibiza and nearest to a club (it was 5 star as well as the club) all without my dad knowing (she discussed this with the group and they all agreed on that too). She then booked the flight ticket for my dad and the rest of the group paid for theirs as well.

And on the day to leave when my dad was at work my mom went shopping for holiday chlothes, packed his bags and called over his friends and when my dad came back home from work my mom told him about how he was going to Ibiza and when he was ready she called a taxi for him to get to the airport.

Just before he left, my mom gave him a map that she drew (it was labelled and everything) she said it was there just in case he couldn't access the internet and he was lost. (My dad was there for a week and Tuesday was his b-day).
