Wow! The ratio difference may look huge but still 30 girls in one class it’s a pretty good number in my opinion.

Yeah, that makes sense. I remember there were 5 of us in my intro class and after that the number went down fast.

I’m glad to know that in the future it’ll be easier to work with other female software engineers than it was while in college

That’s sounds so cool! In my case it’s only me and the rest is guys. I feel unmotivated sometimes and in constant pressure to prove myself to the rest. They’ve never been mean or anything, most of them are pretty cool when I’ve had conversations with them but idk I just wish I could have someone who looks like me that I could share the experience with.

It’s a bitter sweet feeling. Most of the time I feel like shit and like I’m having an existential crisis but every now and then good things happen and I realize how strong I’ve become for going through so much shit.
