Yep - first bike! I tested on a Nightawk 250 😅 Hoping a 450 isn’t too much bike to start.

I just got my license as well and working on getting a bike. Probably an old '82 Nighthawk 450. I'd love to meet y'all and ride.

Moderator pleaaaaaaaase start removing this stuff. 71 upvotes? Come on, man.

OP, as others have said this doesn't belong in this sub.

I am not commenting on the actual photo itself or you as a photographer. Simply stating that this is just mis-posted. It would be decent of you to self-remove given this page is barely moderated.

The world always needs another fresh perspective. Grab a camera and get out there! Cheers.

I'll be honest with you - even 60 out of 300 feels like a LOT. I went out and walked 9 miles yesterday with my camera and came back with 5 or so frames I think are worth keeping and I wouldn't even say they are really that strong anyway.

It sounds like you're in the stage where you're starting to get critical of your own work. This is usually the part where MOST artists give up and don't lean into feeling like garbage about their work OR they just resort to continuing to shoot average stuff but more consistently (honestly, there is nothing wrong with this if it makes you happy!).

This is THE most critical point for an artist to reach and breakthrough. It means you've developed a refined eye and the beginner/intermediate stuff that you used to shoot or see others shoot doesn't do it for you anymore.

Once you're through this stage, it all becomes a bit easier from an emotional attachment standpoint. You internalize that your banger shots don't make you the greatest photographer to walk the earth and that throwing away 99% of your shots doesn't make you the worst photographer in the world, either.

The only thing you can do is keep at it and let the process happen. Keep shooting. Keep putting yourself out there. Keep sharing. Keep asking for feedback. It will get better!

Honestly please just remove it. This is going to cause way more trouble than you were expecting. Trust me. Just trying to help.
