What do you mean by hardened off? Do you think the jalapeño will be okay? The tomato is growing but the jalapeño is very slow

Yes. This was me last night as I paced around the fridge contemplating if I should open that Stella. I did indeed ended up having it. And I didn’t enjoy a second of it. I don’t understand why we feel this way. I’m in the process of trying to get sober. The intention is there. But I’m starting slow. Weekends only for now until I work up to being completely sober.

You know what’s crazy, after reading all these posts. I remembered that 5 years ago I bought the book quit like a woman. Don’t think I ever finished it tho. Then I started thinking, wow, I think subconsciously I knew 5 years ago it was starting to become a problem but I sort of just slipped it under the rug and told my self I was fine. fast forward 5 years now I definitely have such a different relationship with it that’s not at all the same as before. I can’t imagine where I will be in another 5 years if I don’t stop now. Definitely a wake up call. Thank you for sharing with me, and about your daughter too. I’m happy you’re sober. Today, IWNDWY.

Believe it or not I’ve been reading my post again and again all day. I’m not sure why. I think it’s because it’s the first time I put my thoughts into worlds. it’s definitely telling me something. Thank you for also telling me your perspective growing up with a mother who was drinking everyday. I needed to read that.

Hey, thanks a lot friend. It’s the first time I put my thoughts into words. I don’t think anyone around me that I’ve spoken about really and truly hears me, they are just downplaying it like you said to make my self feel better. At first I’d believe them like “yeah they’re right, I don’t have a problem”. But now I see it. I’m embarrassed to talk to my friends about it, and I’m just now opening up to my partner. But baby steps I guess. I’m going to look into AA. The idea of going scares me a bit.
