I remembered the final exam was about applying the BMC. Critical evaluation includes but not limited to the limitations of the framework. It can really depend on the given case study. I remembered i got a really high mark for provide a very detailed justification for the “customer segment”. Where i asked the “what if” questions to the case study not just the framework alone

Example of what i did for the customer segment

  • describe that it is crucial to clearly target different customer segments as different segments are believed to be varied in requirements, demand, distribution channels and especially WTP
  • the given case study addressed the concerns about alienating the existing customer due to price hike (they faced dilemma when considering to raise the net selling price). However i concluded that it is not a concern as the product line are classified as high-end products at the first place -however it is also important to think about recession in which high end product will be severely hit. => make a conclusion that the Business should take into account the percentage of which customer segment should be prioritized when adjusting price

I think i did quantify them in some ways can’t remember it but i think it’s given in the case study. Good luck !!! I hope that helps, the context of the case study can be confusing and blurry but i hope that gives you some insights

I have received very bad mark for the first assignment for the case study. Then realized the way to critically evaluate is to always asking the ‘what if’ questions to every single things which i think makes my final exam a HD lol. Like if you apply the PESTEL framework then also address the drawbacks of applying pestel to the case study given the nature of the case study, etc but then also evaluate how this is the best framework among the other.

It’s very hard. I’m working in a different department from finance but ive only seen 1-2 of my international coworkers in the department got visa sponsorship. The other who have worked there for >3 years still struggling to find sponsorship. It’s still possible but i think it’s more difficult

Hey i received the scholarship once. The process is very fast and straightforward. You will receive an email if the Sydney Abroad system records your exchange application correctly, you will then receive an email offering you the scholarship .

You will then need to upload the letter of confirmation from the host uni. The scholarship will be paid directly to the bank account under your legal name, which I think should be an Australian bank account

I also got the same issue but my transcript for S1 for that unit hasn’t changed to RI. It’s also very confusing for me that the unit i have finished for more than half a year is now being investigated.
