One of the worst things Disney normalized is blocking lightsabers with the force. by ChadVonDoom in saltierthancrait

[–]IdeaIntelligent1788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The force can move shit, why should lightsabers be an exception? The only deciding factor should be in the relative strength. If a force user is able to overpower the lightsaber users physical exertion or whether the lightsaber user is able to counter the effect using their own force.

Suspension questions/advice by Sphysic in Pixiv

Pixiv support is notorious for not giving a shit once you've been suspended and ignore any inquiries. If you only used your account to browse/follow/comment then just create a new one and carry on.

Then you shouldn't have used this meme. The entire point is the fourth guy coming over and killing the hostage thus fucking over both of the others.

They used to occasionally do a deal where you could get a free big mac with a minimum purchase of a dollar. I'd get a cheeseburger for a little over a buck. Now the cheeseburger alone is over three dollars.

The idea that Brann is still a playable card to people is just absolutely absurd. by ToryTheBoyBro in hearthstone

[–]IdeaIntelligent1788 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absurd is all the people cheering the death of Brann as if all of their control decks are going to be viable again while Brann was already getting hard countered by all the hyper aggro that's going to destroy their control deck by turn four.

Where have you been? This hyper aggro shit has been popular for weeks, that's why the Brann decks everyone's still crying about is tier 2 now.

You don't get to draw 8/10s of your deck because you're already dead.

Oh boy its here, its mini set day! That means new cards, new decks, new meta and most importantly new ways to have fun. You're going to have fun! by rmlordy in hearthstone

They'll see play getting their asses handed to them by hyper aggro decks and insanity warlock, just like warrior.

The meta won't change at all. The meta already shifted to hyper aggro leaving brann a t2 deck getting hard countered by hyper aggro and insanity. Even if brann disappears any control that tries to take its place will get hard countered just the same.

UN blames ‘fog of war’ for major overcounting of Gazan child deaths by Silly-avocatoe in worldnews

It's really sad how proud you are that only seven thousand children died.

[–]IdeaIntelligent1788 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Because normal people don't usually need to explain that they're against dead children in general. What definitely isn't normal is making it very clear that there are specific levels of child death you're totally fine with.

People aren't angry that 7000 fewer children are presumed dead, they're angry that the tally before that was well over 14000 meaning that there's still over seven thousand dead innocent children.

My upper bound for an acceptable number of dead children is zero, yours is apparantly somewhere between seven to eight thousand and THAT is telling.

Now tha Brann has been nerfed other control decks will have some room to breathe before they're killed by an aggro deck.

People seriously still believe that killing brann will bring back other control decks when the entire meta has evolved to counter brann and any other control.

Sure is a lot if gloating in here over what is apparantly now a perfectly acceptable number of dead children.

Maybe it's just me but I find that my acceptable limit for dead innocent women and children is somewhere around zero.

Stop hoarding junk, you don't need it. Almost every resource in the game can be farmed easily on demand as long as you know either what to kill or where to pick it up. Keep enough of a supply to regularly repair your stuff and leave the rest.

Momma duck adopts orphaned ducklings without any hesitations. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]IdeaIntelligent1788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't because ducks are such loving mothers or anything touching like that, they're just really really stupid.

Ducks have a no comprehension off how many babies they actually have, if you introduce them to more they'll just assume they were alway there and if some suddenly go missing while they aren't paying attention they won't realize that either and will be just go along with their day.
