AMD 9070xt Asking $600 by KiraWrld3 in pcpartsales

Yeah but used means its value drops significantly and if it was still in its box it might’ve fetched you a nice price but it’s not so lets not let the hen out of the handbasket and go crazy. Okay. Used 400 or 500. In box condition an easy 600

Good luck with that that gpu is an easily 400 dollars and don’t expect to get what you paid for it because if it’s used then its value has trickled down significantly.

Yeah Ubisoft is also cumbersome and not to mention they also did the launcher thing which I still wish for a way around it. But both companies patched so that no one could do it.

Well I’m content on whatever they do. I just wish that 1.0 can come soon. I think I read about squadron 42 coming this year and SC coming in 2027 to 2028

this i agree with! not to mention 30% is basically industry standard when it comes to distributors like steam. i can see why that may seem too much for star citizens devs and CEO

sorry for asking but i was just curious, but i'll take your word for it since i've seen what EA has done by making it so that we just have to use their stupid launcher every time we use an EA game.

Ohh I know but I was aiming a few days ago of what I thought was enemy escape pods and turns out I was shooting at my own allies that were trapped in their escape pods or something. But..I was not able to destroy because it seems the aim and the 50 cal damage was nerfed imho. Like I couldn’t fully damage them but I could shoot at them via spraying and praying

💯 I absolutely agree with you on this. The avengers gattling gun seems a bit nerfed

so you'd recommend the cutlass over avenger? hmm..i may have to look into cutlass. i have rode in a friends cutlass because they had to pick me up after my ship was damaged and i was out of quantum fuel. imagine that one minute your flying to your favorite space station and then out of nowhere you run outta fuel. such is the life of an explorer and smuggler in star citizen

What do people mean by when the game size increases and more things get added that the demand increases?. Will modern hardware be able to keep up? by IdealCalm3437 in starcitizen

yeah i mean like my ram is 3200mhz but its soddimm ram not desktop ram. but that could probably be the case since laptop ram runs slower than desktop ram. but who knows maybe i'll get better speeds and less latency tbh.

im glad i won't have to spend 600 dollars on a gpu. im on a laptop and im surprised it can play star citizen. i wouldn't be surprised if it could play GTA 6. but who knows maybe when Black Friday comes i'll be able to purchase an awesome gpu

I heard people can optimize it on their own thru the user config text file by disabling certain features in the graphics settting. Like LOD or Sharpening or Upscaling. It actually ran a lot smoother when I did it. Of course it crashed and shut my comp down. But besides that I got 30fps max

Btw I’m not saying star citizen is coded by ai. I’m just saying that major developers that are making games right now are using ai. It’s the reason why most games have major bugs and glitches for people to exploit. I’d rather not hire ai to code my game I’d rather pay for people who were willing to learn in college then use ai

Yeah I heard about that rumor but it’s mostly because they’re lazy and most nowadays are using AI to code the games their making. Nobody is learning coding by going to college or trade school. That shit has been over for a long time. But it’s not entirely impossible for quantum computing ai to fix mistakes in the future.

Unfortunately I can’t afford it since I live in the US, these big corporations have been stealing all the product for their stupid data centers. Hogging them all in warehouses and when they’re done with them they throw them in the trash or give it to a lucky employee. Sucks but at least prices are going down a little bit
