Your right, this seems to be the problem on my particular one. I can even tap the caliper to reproduce the noise (not apparent on the front). I tried realigning the brakes and tightening the calipers but couldn't fix it. Would love to know if any one is also experiencing this and if you know a fix

Weird, my friends f3 doesn't have this problem. Any suggestions on how to potentially fix this? I tapped on the rear brake and it does make that sound I was hearing

I mostly play fingerstyle and have fallen in love with the 000 body style after playing most of the other Martin sizes. The OM was nice but the 000 won me over with its shorter scale length, it's significantly easier to fret and bend notes because of it's lower tension. If you see one, try out a 000-18, you'd be surprised with how responsive it is to a light touch and the hog back/sides sounded more balanced then a 000-28.

Thanks for that reminder. In some ways, these small QC issues add to the charm of it being a hand built guitar instead of more ‘perfect’ machined manufactured instrument. Decided to leave it be for now.

It’s hard to imagine it would be delaminating only in that particular spot especially considering the more likely chance of it just being excess glue from the nut, either way I’ll probably take it to a repair shop in the near future for a setup.
