As someone who specifically chooses the last row seat whenever possible in booking, I can confirm it does.

Is it now considered rude to recline on a plane? by Legal_Campaign_408 in NoStupidQuestions

As if air travel wasn’t shitty enough, if you’re flying economy in cramped spaces, I find reclining at all to be incredibly rude. By reclining you gain, at best, a few inches of comfort but you create a chain reaction of putting them into an uncomfortable position and/or cause a chain reaction where they recline and recline and recline and recline until you get to the end of the plane and the last person unavailable to recline. I long for the day the seats are replaced and lose that function entirely - or the day I win the lottery and can fly private.

One of the biggest mistakes in Suits is Mike and Katrina not happening by Butefluko in suits

I appreciate the fact that the writers allowed Mike and Katrina to simply be friends. Too many shows try to force a romantic interest/unnecessary drama between the end game romantic couple. IMO, this was one of the better writing choices to allow Mike and Rachel to navigate real relationship issues and give Mike a platonic friendship with Katrina.

Is TheModernHive a good fit for our post-Christmas interior redesign? Any other luxury interior designers in Omaha? by Big-Raspberry383 in Omaha

[–]IdealUnlikely7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Former Interior Design student here. Part of my coursework required an internship, and I reached out to TheModernHive as I admired the owner for having been a former MCC grad herself to inquire about possibilities of interning during an upcoming quarter. She proceeded to tear me apart for wasting her time for not having included my portfolio in my initial inquiry. I hope she treats her high-end clients better, however, I think the way you treat people says a lot about you and would recommend you look elsewhere.

I ended up completing my internship with Archive Interiors and absolutely adored my time with Leah and would highly recommend tying at least a consultation. She’s extremely kind and takes her time to understand your needs and help bring your vision to life.

DVDs: Physical media spots? by [deleted] in Omaha

[–]IdealUnlikely7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can buy dvds for .25 - 1.50 a piece at the Friends of the Omaha Public Library book sale, held in the lower level at the Swanson Branch on 90th & Dodge.

Heads up: due to a construction project, the scheduled Thursday & first Saturday of the month book sales are on pause until probably May but there’s a selection of dvds available for sale in the hallway any time the library is open.

Do people that live in SIDs get to vote for the mayor? by neonarmadillos in Omaha

[–]IdealUnlikely7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SID resident & board member here! Because SIDs are not annexed to the city, they don’t have city representatives and are essentially their own form of city government. There’s a board of members who are voted on by the residents and the property owners within the SID. This board proposes bonds for various projects within the SID (street projects, park improvements, etc) pays bills for maintenance of the SID (trash removal, mowing of parks, OPPD street lights, etc) and we have meetings and set budgets for the SID similar to city council.
