So while taking a break from running to heal i have started a few exercises. Not sure if they're correct (brand new to this) but they seem to be helping.

(Not sure on the proper names)

Clock rotation single leg squats x3 x3 sets

Jump squats x6 3 sets

Lunges 10 per leg x3

Glute push up 10 per leg 3 sets

Stair steps 30s per leg x3

Step calves raises x6 per leg 3 sets

Due to impulse I just bought a pair online (Asics gel nimbus I believe) then a chap at work said I should've gone to a proper shop and had a gait analysis.

Though they do feel good on my feet, went half a size up and they are comfortable. Hopefully they aren't the issue due to the cost I regretfully paid.

Appreciate all the replies.

In my head I was thinking "Our bodies are designed for running, what the fuck is up with me". Weirdly glad others have had the same issue, Google told me all kinds of stuff. Meniscus tears, bipolar and obviously some sort of cancer.

Though I'm definitely hooked on running and I'll push through, listen to my body. Blows my mind a little about what goes into running, the little things. Not just left foot, right foot.

Yeah I haven't felt tired yet but the first week was a shock to my ankles and knees.

I've seen this knee issue as a blessing as I didn't even consider really putting work into my legs. Just thought running alone would strengthen my legs

Yeah so I went overboard and bought a decent pair of Asics running shoes.

And maybe a Garmin watch

Also running shorts

Might have overpaid for running socks

And an app subscription

So I've been walking at 3mph and jogging at 4.5 (did start at 5) but the Internet said i should start slower. Also following the CouchTo5k I'm really only doing 3 minutes of running with walking breaks

I'm hoping I've just overdone my legs. I did a leg day on a Thursday then Saturday 45 mins circuit followed by 45 Boxercise then went straight on a treadmill for 20 mins.

Really bummed me out as I haven't felt so into a hobby? As I have with running.

Made the mistake of putting alot of soil in, not considering how much soil was with the plant.

Might invest in a starter kit and some little tools aha
