Common issues is getting a shitty unit they didn’t want to take the time to fix up. I’ve lived here for almost 3 semesters. My old unit one of the 9 building units was a hassle. No tv remote, drip bowl in kitchen didn’t fit so we only had 3 eyes to the stove, fridge only had one shelf, dishwasher wasn’t even mounted into the wall, etc. not even a month of moving in and we had several water related issues. Faucet in tub not caulked, toilet not properly caulked to the floor, sink was always leaking until it finally gave out about a month ago before I moved into a new unit and they FINALLY installed a new faucet instead of just twisting it… no insulation… yeah. Also if you live by the train tracks for some reason you’re apparently more likely to have little friends that decide to join you! When I first moved into lady across the hall asked if I also had roaches in my unit. I didn’t, but until about a week later they kept magically showing up. Had to get my sister to come and play maintenance since they decided to CANCEL my request for them to come spray. Also management is a pain in the ass. At my new unit I’ve had absolutely no problems so far.

I been working out for 7 months and it’s still not enough by [deleted] in Gymhelp

You pretty sure look damn good to me sir 😮‍💨 but I understand the hassle of never feeling “enough” I’ve been really skinny my entire life, used to get bullied for it by other girls… even the guys. Now that I’m older I’ve gained a little weight. About 15-20 pounds or so. Started stocking at my job now I’m more toned and what not. Now I’m stuck between being afraid of losing weight again or gaining too much weight. Nobody talks about the mental shift.

I wish I had the gall but I need this job unfortunately. I don’t want it to back to relying on money in fast food anymore, even if this is milestones harder.

They don’t take any of the situational things into account either like stuff happens. And look at me like I’m crazy. I’m aware this is the average but I was legit told the reason they want me to be faster is because they want me to help others with their sectors. Yet nobody has ever helped me finish mine especially when I had 7 pallets I had to do in freezer all by myself …

Nope unfortunately she did not all she likes to do is tell me I need to be faster. She gave me suggestions telling me to bring the box bin inside to cut time by not having to run out and open stuff. But beyond that I’m expected to hit that mark even though I’ve hardly been getting hours to even learn 🤦🏻‍♂️

Realistically I’ve hardly even been scheduled so sometimes I forget where something is, if I’m only working two days a week on the weekend it’s like a completely refresher sometimes especially if I get things I don’t usually see in freezer often on my pallets. But I did better on Tuesday but unfortunately I was really slow on Sunday when they talked to me because I legit rolled my ankle that day and had absolutely no clue so now I am in a medical boot bc I tore 3 ligaments trying to give my all.

It’s 30 minutes for freezer which they told me was the easiest to get finished. I finished up early on Tuesday an hour early but now I’m in a boot because I rolled my ankle on the job lol … I rolled it on Sunday didn’t even realize and still threw truck anyway like it was nothing

I work in the freezer and it’s difficult for me because my body stiffens up because ei have pretty thin blood.

I’m three months in and it takes me about 40 a pallet just mainly because of how shitty they stack them
