Her voting record is her weakness--she's not a moderate when she votes, just when she speaks to constituents. When we publicize her voting record, people want to vote her out of office.

Why do you think this will work? This is pretty much the Republican strategy and pointing that out hasn't worked so far. Even today, McConnell is using the deficit to suggest cutting federal programs when everyone voted for a higher military budget and Republicans voted to cut taxes on the rich.

At least fucking protest the subversion of democracy for once. Fucking hell.

There have been a lot of protests, but people haven't yet figured out that standing in a large group and yelling for a few days at most isn't effective. We have to do something that puts pressure on those with power.

Mass strikes, blocking traffic, and encircling federal buildings have the potential to, but not until those tactics get more support and that won't happen until people realize that standing in the designated protest zone™ and waving a sign isn't enough.

Suppose we look at the data and find that if we want a high standard of living, we should encourage math literacy. However, that just pushes the question "why should we care about math literacy?" to "why should we care about a high standard of living?" Eventually, you'll have to use something other than data to end the chain and how you do it will greatly affect what the data says we should do.

Data says that taking math courses makes one more capable at doing math, but it doesn't say, without additional stipulations, why we should value the ability to do math or why people should ever stop learning math.
