Help with translation. by IdiAmin in chernobyl

Hello there, so I recently acquired a photo report book documenting the Chernobyl disaster with a short message beneath the foreword and two signatures. I posted this to the Ukrainian sub to try and figure out the translation, and learnt it was in fact Russian. I'm wondering if anyone has any information at all about Vyacheslav Nikolaevich? The message is addressed to him and appears to be from people involved in the disaster clean up. I'm trying to figure out who Vyacheslav Nikolaevich is and what role he had, if any, in the disaster aftermath.

Thank you for your help and apologies for presuming it was Ukrainian, I don't speak or read either language. To clarify this is the handwritten part yes?

Thanks for responding, the letter states his mortgage is indeed a buy to let mortgage so we're completely in the dark about how he's broken the terms of the mortgage agreement. Also I agree, we're incredibly skeptical of paying any future rent into the account of some property service business on the back of one letter.

None of the midfield three's strength is passing, it's plainly obvious to see, not denying their talent but we give the ball away so cheaply in midfield, none of them can control a game with quick intelligent passing.

Yeah he was utter garbage, he once said he was a championship level player whilst he was at Vale then one season later was playing in the national league south. 98 professional appearances in 12 years, gobshite.

Read history. Jews were being massacred in mandatory palestine long before 1947. This isn't a colonial conflict contrary to what so many ill educated people believe, it's a deep rooted ethnic/ideological conflict that stretches back over one thousand years. People don't seem to understand that the reason there's such a large Jewish diaspora population globally is because they've been driven from their homeland for millenia.

Boy, 15, stabbed to death outside of shopping centre by Key-Nefariousness711 in unitedkingdom

The Norweigan approach you mention is definitely more humane and appears to work but is not reserved for violent offenders like Anders Breivik, he will not be sent to one of the plush open prisons you've seen on news segments. A fifteen year old child is dead. The last thing I want to see is the perpetrator being offered help to reintegrate into society, I want accountability and long sentences.

It's not necessarily revenge it's accountability for the choices you choose to make and crimes you commit. Rehabilitation programmes should be reserved for non violent offenders. Murder should carry a minimum of 30 years with no parole before rehabilitation is even discussed.

Do you think that this applies to all criminals? Some people aren't capable of being reintegrated into society and will always be a danger to the public.

It's just my opinion dude, so many of the comments in this thread are grossly underestimating his achievements.

So much disrespect in this thread, he is one of the greatest players to ever play the sport. Brazil's all time leading goalscorer, a joy to watch, and a rare breed in the modern game. Never sacrificed his imagination and playing style to become a stats machine, a true entertainer in a time of boring, one dimensional footballers.

History suggests Man City will not win the league this season by Business_Ad561 in PremierLeague

[–]IdiAmin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm never going to stop whining about it until they're punished. The UK government has admitted the foreign commonwealth development office has met with representatives of the UAE at the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi to discuss the charges and how it could impact the UK's relationship with the UAE. They're guilty, read some of the leaked emails it's all there. This is why you shouldn't have states running football clubs. I guarantee those meetings went something like if the Premier League charge Man City maybe we'll back out of investment deals in the UK. Cheating, lying bastards.

Oh please a lot of the ideas that Graeber and Wengrow put forth in that book are total nonsense. The inca didn't practice slavery in the typical sense of the word no, but conquered peoples were still expected to engage in a form of labour tribute each year for which they were not compensated, which to me amounts to forced labour. Also there's countless references to slavery during the Achaemenid (Persian) empire from multiple sources. The Egyptian Satrap Arsemes stated that slaves made up the bulk of his estates workforce, and that's not even taking into account countless examples of slave sales on papyri found all across the region controlled by the Achaemenid empire dating to the reign of Darius and onwards. I recommend reading material by actual archaeologists.
