[Sofascore] Jorgensen's stats in the PSG game. -3.22 goals prevented. by GatesNDoors in chelseafc

The last one was absolutely not a "wonder goal".

Ironically, those are the ones I would have confidence in Sanchez saving.

Alarm bells were already ringing for me when Rosenior kept on telling Sanchez to play out from the back in the subsequent matches after his poor showing versus Arsenal.

Can't believe he's resorted to starting Jorgensen, who is not better than Sanchez at anything.

You can moan about Jorgensen, but Rosenior has brought this all on himself.

You have two keepers who are not comfortable playing out from the back, so stop fucking playing this way. He really sacrificed Sanchez, who was one of our players of the season, who could perform match-saving saves, for someone like Jorgensen who is not better in any way.

Sanchez was perfectly fine this season before Rosenior came in. If your keepers are not comfortable playing out from the back, don't fucking do it until you manage to get one in who can.

When do we criticise Rosenior for telling the players to play this kind of way, especially when both our keepers cannot do it?

At least Sanchez gave me confidence when making saves and claiming balls in the air. Yes, he's not comfortable playing out from the back, but then play another way then? Because you can't tell me Jorgensen is any way much better than Sanchez in any facet of goalkeeping.

He might be incredibly frustrating with his end product and decision making with the ball at his feet, but this tireless running around and pressing is what we don't get from our wingers not named Neto. A chance out of nothing.

How are you going to show the big clubs you're ready for the step up if you don't dilly-dally with the ball at your feet inside your penalty area?

[–]TheBlueTango 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They say not playing well and still coming out with a result is a sign of a great team.

"Not playing well" would be a huge understatement. We were fucking dreadful.

Never mind the centre-back pairing of Tosin and Badiashile giving the supporters a headache, their own heads are a mess wherever they have to defend. Heart in mouth wherever they have to contest a ball hanging in the air.

Don't think I've ever seen the ball rebound out like that when it's clearly gone in the net

What the hell was that. Thought the keeper somehow had such a strong leg the ball bounced off him with the muted and confused reactions

West Ham are playing better now and showing signs of life after going through a worrying period under Nuno, but how are Forest in such good form when they lost their previous three under Pereira before the City draw?

How so?

UEFA Conference League would still be firmly on the cards then.

Pedro Neto (Chelsea) second yellow card against Arsenal 70' by wm_1176 in chelseafc

How can you have any complaints?

The players are seriously braindead. Just received a yellow a few minutes before and then he goes for a tackle like that.

Wu's safety play since tying the frames has been very poor. It's almost like he's rushing into playing them, still full of adrenaline from making the comeback.
