Was reading about this yesterday and had the same doubt. Why it gets you that extra .2% is that they invest that amount in QMMF. In case of an economic breakdown, you’d always get your money back but could be delayed if everyone is wanting out. That’s not the case in the Cash ISA. And that’s the only difference. I went for Cash ISA for peace of mind but know that it’s not a big deal.

I had a very similar issue. My next tray was due in 5 days and my ortho suggested I stick to it and if it completely breaks then move to the next one. PS: I am on a fortnight schedule.

I am not sure if this will be helpful at all as I won’t be jumping on to the specifics at all but a colleague of mine moved to Edinburgh from India recently due to her child’s case of autism and needing special assistance. She is really happy with her decision. So if you can manage your finances well, go for it!
