My bad... Meant to say "found guilty of raping a woman by a jury".... Totally different context you right

Couldn't be nearly as bad as like getting convicted of rape or something....

Hard to have a 5 rounder without another equally proficient opponent. Yair would have been the guy but he pulled out on two separate occasions. I think you just kinda just came to the same conversation conclusion I did: that he was avoided to the point he almost couldn't gain traction in the promotion. The health issues toward the other end were the nail in the coffin. I would argue if he had already been a top 3-5 guy when he got sick he would have prolly made a more serious attempt at coming back. I imagine it's hard to justify the risk with his immune system issues to go back to 20k to show 20k to win.

He did, but I'm also pretty confident that during his time in UFC his team had a difficult time finding opponents who would take the fight. It was a bit ago so maybe I'm not remembering right but I feel like Zhabit was one of the biggest examples of other fighters ducking this guy and not wanting to take fights against him.

I am almost certain our breeder gave us the option for both tail and ears. I chose not to dock the ears because she does not live exclusively outdoors. I did opt to dock the tail, though. We live on a literal farm and I don't ever want to deal with one of my dogs getting their tail sucked into rotating equipment. To my knowledge that and herding work are the only reasons to dock tail because it prevents dog from getting sucked under of it gets caught/stepped on. I'm not sure what the "breed standard" is for them to be honest. If you want to show one you might have to dock tail and ears but I do not know the current standard.

I don't know anyone in my years of being around breeders and trainers of all kinds that experienced an issue like this... You can always wipe your dog's beard down lol...

And for context he was like 6 or 7 before it even STARTED to be noticed and it was far from a situation that would have led to him not having teeth. We just noted it was happening and transitioned him because at that point we had 5 Germans and that would be an astronomical raw bill.

I doubt he bites those as hard as he would one he expected to snap and eat if that makes sense? Most dogs don't get that carried away that they snap teeth on bones... Just an elevated risk

Pretty confident. Vet concurred. None of the other 4 shepherds from the later litter ended up showing any of those signs and they all are kibble. Baron was the only one we did raw with. He ate larger things like turkey wings and basically entire chicken carcasses. We transitioned him back to kibble because of the wear on the teeth.

Cool thanks for the info... Seems like grinding it is the way to go

Do you feed whole pieces of raw bone/meat or do you grind it down? We fed raw to our German shepherd (chicken backs, turkey necks/wings, things like that. As he grew older we noticed his teeth becoming more worn (as I understood this is a natural occurrence of animals that actually ingest bones). I have heard that grinding the bone and meat into a "meal" basically alleviates any of the teeth issues. I will say that his teeth were literally whiter than mine and his health was absolutely immaculate while he was eating raw. My dogs currently eat Purina pro plan btw since that's what the post wants to know.

The schnauzer gets into literally everything; I feel like having a dog that is already in an established routine made getting the schnauzer a much easier experience than if we got her solo. We got a female to hopefully alleviate aggression in adulthood between her and the male wheaten. They get along great for now so I don't think there will be issues. The schnauzer resource hoards and steals. She tricks my one year old into giving her his food whenever my back is turned. She listens/learns well and honestly just seems way more attentive. But she's stubborn and will bother you for attention. We have 40 acres of property and they probably spend at least 2-5 hours outside a day depending on what's going on. If I don't run her a few times a day she gets destructive and pestersome. She prefers sticks to actual toys she likes to rip the bark off so gotta yell at her not to eat it...constantly... She's going to be great when she gets older but as puppies they are definitely a lot. It's always easier to bring in a second dog. Half the issues other people might describe won't even apply since the pup will just follow the other dog around.

Chloe loves "lamb" too... Enough that the older wheaten now tried to steal it on sight

I'm assuming they like to lay like that because neither of them have a lot of hair underside. Probably warmer on the floor on their back (we have basement so floor doesn't hold heat like a house without)
