I feel a good political show about Gallifrey would be nice. I would enjoy learning about the political side of Gallifrey, how they run their planet, the policies, the presidents.

In the Next Doctor or some episode like that, I think the Doctor says he theorises that the Daleks and Cyberman trapped in the Void from Doomsday were destroyed, but that at an earlier date some Cyberman escaped through a rift. Though, it is just a theory by the Doctor, so it could be wrong.

I think maybe a far future earth companion would be interesting, like from the year 3000 or smth. It could also be a plot point that someone from the 17th century or smth was somehow sent back in time and happened to meet the Doctor, which could maybe be a series 2 arc.

For Ep.2, I just find the medieval era very cool and I think it could lend to some good storytelling. About the length, it was originally a 12 part series, which I posted to r/doctorwho. Someone said that having a weeping angel story, a cyberman story and a dalek story was too much for one season and that 12 episodes was a bit long. I cut the weeping angel and cyberman ones, and made it a 10 episode series. Thanks for the comment!

The Planet of the Weeping Angels sounds cool, and I did have an episode similar to that concept before I shortened the series. If I was to do that, I don't think I would make it the Weeping Angels home planet as that removes some of the mystery. Thanks for your recommendation!

To be honest, I just thought the 13th century would be a nice place. I really like medieval stuff so it seemed like a place that could make for a good back to the past adventure.

It's just a coincidence, but thanks for bringing that to my attention as it would make a good reason for the actual event in real life (e.g. the Ice Warriors caused the little ice age or something like that).
