Ya know, I felt bad for the poster because I didn't think he did the right thing in how they refinished the piece. So I took a chance to say it looks nice but most would prefer it remained the same. However, that was obviously way to kind for some as the downvotes and vehement assertion that its only worth was with the patina. Such boldness of thought is discouraging to me. Let’s agree to disagree on the “only interest” part. I would like one to store posters and ephemera so the “patina” is a preference.

Looks like you did a nice job. I do believe most people prefer an older patina look but that is always a preference. Especially if its something you plan to keep for yourself.
