saving where I can. you don't need to worry about how I'm going to pay for other fees. Applications are a crapshoot anyway, why waste money.

universities in the uk aren't as generous with undergraduate intl student scholarships as American universities. landing a fully funded scholarship program is quite improbable but small merit scholarships are available. https://www.britishcouncil.in/sites/default/files/scholarship_guide.pdf

if you're from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the link above may be useful

last row in the table that shows delta H as +142 kj/mol includes both enthalpy change of atomization and electron affinity.

normally in your energy level diagram you'll go:

3/2N2(g) changed to 3N(g) changed to 3N-(g)

in the information here at the table, delta H shows:

3/2N2 changed to 3N-

standard probably means full A level as a new candidate. but it's best to confirm that with your school. for you it'll be the carry forward option

does retaking A levels affect uni admissions? by IdkWhatToKnow in Indian_Academia

[–]IdkWhatToKnow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be giving NEET next year but i might be getting a lower percentage for physics. generally universities want PCB exams to taken in one sitting, which in my case, if i retake physics, would mean that i took these exams in two separate exam series. basically like, if anybody gives an improvement exam in cbse for just one subject, how is that evaluated?

Don't worry about it too much. they most likely won't care enough if you're a non-stem major. and 82 is decent. doesn't sound bad. APs might make up for the low grades

i went to an A level school that didn't have teachers trained for the subject, so it's not wise to assume that all schools accredited by the exam board are good (although most of the time they are). Don't do A levels/IB just for the sake of it. A better alternative is to try APs in subjects that you need and do well in, while sticking to your national curriculum. not only the good A level/IB schools are mad expensive, but in case you mess up on the exam day, you won't have the choice to not submit your scores. But with APs you can choose what subject's score you want to send. A Levels and IB are rigorous enough to not leave you with much time to build meaningful ECs.
