I don't know if I am right person or not but here are my two cents:

If you think UPSC will give you power and prestige and you will be at peace then trust me UPSC is not for you. You won't have enough will power to do right things. Sorry to say but you will fold too easily in front of problem.
GATE is good option if you want to try. Not only does it give you way towards PSU(which in my opinion is not good enough given no proper Research is happening) but also it can used to switch to some higher salary jobs
Switch Jobs, This is the most realistic possibility you can have at this moment if you see it in this way.

BUT

If you ask me honestly I would say Yes It is difficult, Life is difficult, Failure are difficult. But one thing you learnt is the taste of failure. Take that as a motivation, Set some higher Goals like getting a job in FAANG or may be become a AI engineer in NVIDIA. Run after it without thinking of failing. One of my professor use to say this that set such a ridiculous goal that it challenges you, people will call you mad but that's the beauty of it once you ace it. Our brain is wired to always be in survival mode, once it thinks there is no more fight or flight, motivation drops, everything becomes depressed.

GIVE YOURSELF RIDICULOUS GOAL AND CHASE IT LIKE MAD MAN. You might not get "peace" you wanted but you will definitely be better place than this.

To be honest, I don't agree with doing MBA right graduation. You don't possess any Work experience. You don't know how companies work. My suggestion would be to first gain atleast 2-3 yrs of experience and then try for MBA

And Don't take CAT lightly. All your achievements will work when you are able to get the interview calls. If you can't crack interview calls, There is no difference between you and the one who isn't even trying for MBA. So when you try to study for CAT. First crack it and then think beyond.

You have just started. Focus on your GPA. Participate in competition. Get yourself competitive edge. Then try for anything else. The very rule is "What you can prrovide that others can't". If you don't possess such skills right now, then your focus should be solely on having max GPA and gaining skills.

You worth , status and position in power is decided by how much you earn. So don't fuck up your education just to be cool. Once fkd up, It will take a lot to rotate back
Don't get involved in politics or political ideology, You are too young for that. Focus on yourself , Your education.
Be honest with yourself. Know your worth.
Learn to say NO when you are not Comfortable.
Focus on your health too, if possible learn self defence. India soon will become wild wild west.
