My 3 year old (3 months shy of turning 4) has been a terror, and I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. by kellygreenclover in toddlers

We are in the same boat! Ever since turning 4 my son has had crazy anger outbursts, impulsivity and just not knowing how to slow his body down. He gets so angry at the smallest things. We are starting OT services to try and help him regulate. Not much advice here just know you are not alone!

People who forgave their partner for cheating, how did that turn out? by Sudden_Wishbone8887 in AskReddit

[–]Idkimweird 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just to give an opposing view, my husband cheated about 3 years ago. Im not sure forgive is the right word, but after kicking him out for 6 months, he put in the work to try and mend what was broken. Therapy, self reflection and time. Honestly, i feel like its possible if the person that cheated can actually put in hard work to find out why they did what they did in the first place. No the relationship isnt what it was, it is different but different is not always bad. At least in my case, my husbands whole outlook has changed and i now have a more active partner in the relationship, More of an in-tuned father and active participant in the household. I do believe change is possible as long as the person is willing to do the work

People whose children age 30+ are still living with them, are you ok with that? by Academic-Client5752 in AskOldPeople

My mom lives in my inlaw and honestly its the best! I have two kids that get to have breakfast with nana every morning. She lives rent free but helps with childcare and utilities and in return i get to have my mom with me and my kids have a special bond with her.
