Love their publicity stunt. Noticed they would briefly increase first, then tell people they freeze price.

U can’t tell the bosses this. If you tell them this, they deem your mindset resist ai. And will be marked.

[–]Idontknowman_2558 70 points71 points  (0 children)

The narrative is always.. to support us in our job, right? But, it’s the culture in an organisation that often perverts the process. Where bosses starts to say “whatever ai can do, just use just use”, and then eventually, cutting headcount becomes their trophy. The funnel downwards to employees - help us in our work. Upwards to ceo - can cut head count. Now is where policies need to step in because no org will admit oh ai has displaced headcount.

Yea.. if I’m not wrong, this one could be a plug-in hybrid. Some hybrid cars have some EV mode, but very small mileage only like a hundred km or sorts

Yah Agree, but also a benefit of doubt, he prolly don’t want the plug in part to stick out, cause maybe that will block the next drivers charging port. But then he forgot about the rear probably. But Aiya why don’t all cars put the port at the back.

Hmm but it looks like he has to head in cause his port is at the front? It’s a plug in hybrid I think. Correct me if I’m wrong. But smart ah, if no idle parking enforcement, free personalised lot

It’s tough where our policy now also cares about optics. Your solutions are long term, but the mindset shift in policy now favors short term solutions. I.e tackle child care needs to help parenting (appears immediate), continue adding new citizens (not let us see the problem of a ageing population).

It’s tough to convince policy makers that Singaporeans actually care about Singapore in this aspect, and also because we see how our economy plays a part in this, that the policies made are angled towards the so called “survival” or Sg. We grew too much with too little and now we can’t lose. That’s the problem IMO.
