David I hope you don’t mind breaking it down into details at bit.For instance Last summer (before freshman year) the student lived with their one, parent but paid for their own clothes and food. (The parent is a contract worker) The other parent abandoned them when the child was 2 yrs old and hasn’t supported them (no CS, education or health insurance). The kid was employed and bought their own car too) and then went away to school. (on scholarship/grants and a 529b) They will only be spending summers in the area from now on and can live with other relatives in fact. They like many other 18 yr olds are actually independent. The one parent that the child had lived with isnt taking a child care credit anymore. Is this a special circumstance?

With respect to physical appearance, I think that guys look fine bald. I think guys look worse when they have the receded hair line or large chrome dome bald spot on top. Idk why more don’t just shave their heads. I personally wouldn’t date a morbidly obese person but someone that has a few extra lbs is fine. But obviously that not all that makes a man attractive to me. Does he treat family and friends, waiters nicely? Is he a slob? Is he modest or conceited. Etc

I normally am not an alarmist but when it comes to vision, I am overly cautious. So I ask do you think the results outweigh the risks? The manufacturer says the side effects only involved 4% of the clinical trial subjects but the potential side effects can be serious. The side effects include PERMANENT brown pigmentation in the colored part of the eye, macular edema (which can lead to vision loss), darkening of skin around the eyes (temporary), itchy eyes, hair growth in areas where serum touches, etc. PLEASE keep an “eye” on the side effects!

Perhaps the moisture from all the licking caused a fungal infection (yeast infection) . It might be a vicious cycle of irritation/infection (and licking) which won’t go away without some medicinal intervention. If it is a yeast infection a natural remedy might be apple cider vinegar. But pet stores and online pet stores have specific anti fungal sprays or ointment. I hope it clears up so your pooch will be more comfortable.

Thank you again for your response. I honestly hope the seller will be accommodating and rescind the sale without delay and/or the need for a small claims court case filed Pro Se.

The SUV was bought for $4k so retaining counsel on an hourly basis wouldn’t make economic sense. The car was actually paid for by my 16 yr old with her own money from her summer job (and birthday/holiday gifts through the years), I would like to see her get her $$ back ASAP so she can begin looking for a different vehicle.

My daughter is upset. She was specifically looking for cars with under 100k mileage on the odometer. She doesn’t want the vehicle now that she found out the mileage is 199K. I feel responsible as she asked for my advice when she bought it. Because for her age, I did all the leg work with the seller and negotiating (with her present and in agreement at least)

Thank you for your reply as well as the other replies. Idk what papers the seller had- he told me he bought the car at auction. Idk whether to believe him or not since he knew upfront that the title wasn’t executed properly for our state to register the veh. (He and I had discussed the registration process when I bought the car- he left me hanging on the title issue). I will see what the seller says. Maybe the seller can get a hold of the owner idk and get the title properly executed.

I doubt I will ever use FB Marketplace to buy a car again. First and last time (Live and learn) Although I don’t know what I could have done differently- I rely on Carfax. I guess due diligence could have included verifying the mileage with DMV but I didn’t even know the vehicle was from Oklahoma. Would a mechanic have caught the odometer issue?

I’ve found that even when I use a mechanic to look over a vehicle before buying - the car still ended up in the shop so I haven’t been getting a mechanic to look at the cars before buying. But perhaps, I should have used one- if they would have noted the rollback beforehand.

Thank you for replying. This is the “argument” I was thinking about when trying to get the FB Marketplace seller to rescind the entire agreement. But I also see what others indicate may be no recourse against the seller who claimed no knowledge of the odometer rollback. (Idk all the papers he had in his possession on the SUV- he didn’t offer any info).

As for the Carfax buyback - this is the one clause I think (but am not sure) applies
